It is absolutely Shakespearean that the clintons thirty year reign of corruption ended with a shake of Anthony Weiner's dick.

Shakespearean in that this is all sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Don't for one second think the Republicans are better. I spoke my mind in an earlier thread stating my desires to see the Republican Party go away. That, because they appear to be the weaker of the two parties. Eliminate the weak first and the more powerful second.

I support Trump in this election because I see him as someone who has the potential to turn the wholly corrupt political system on its head. He's an outsider and just what this country needs right now. If we're to end up with two major political parties I want them to be polar opposites, not both greedy, money grubbing, easily bought and easily influenced entities that are expert at gaming the system to enrich themselves and more than willing to work together behind the scenes while disparaging each other publicly in a tepid fashion solely for appearances.

Our political system needs to be purged of the members of the political class. These positions were never expected to be full time jobs. They were to be filled by elected individuals that had a leaning towards civic duty. Now, they are filled by well-heeled individuals that see these jobs as stepping stones to greater wealth and power. It cannot continue, it must change, it has to change. We cannot continue on the path we are on.

Hillary is more of the same. That makes Trump the obvious and in this election at least, the only choice.

Yeh, let's purge the govt of anybody who knows how to run it & let corporate wealth run everything, right?

I find it rather humorous that the left leaning and Clinton people were all singing praise of how great the FBI Director was when he did not charge Hillary during the first investigation.

Now they are shitting beans and calling him everything but great....

Hillary's not gonna sing, but I guarantee Weiner is. He's out of friends, out of favors, and facing real prison time as a child sex predator. The only card he has left to play is to be an informant. Whatever he got from Huma that incriminates Hillary, he's gonna make sure the FBI gets.

Hillary's gonna trade her pantsuits in for a jumpsuit. And Anthony Weiner should probably go into witness protection before he joins the ranks of Vince Foster and Ron Brown. The contents of the laptop may implicate others. I suspect Bill Clinton is in for a good throttling .

Have you ever thought that maybe, just maybe you're permanently crazy, and the pills you take are nothing more than an illusion of your own reality.

Don't talk to me about feelings and trying to prove you wrong when you're a confirmed crazy lunatic.

In fact, no one in here will change their opinion based on facts or what happens to either side.

While you spew bullcrap from your MoveOn newsletters, I'll continue to vote for anyone that's anti-government and continue my crusade against socialist, fascist, and communist alike.

Two things, I don't take pills for any mental condition and I don't visit the MoveOn site. Perhaps you have confused me with somebody else.

And I'd watch that anti government rhetoric if I were you. I'm sure if Trump gets in it won't be long before Joseph McCarthy will be breaking down your front door. But then, well, you're probably not much of one to think about what you are saying. Probably just crazy people do that.

Good luck on your crusade, Watch out for rabbit holes and smiling cats as you go snicker snack and come galumphing back.

And even after none of that stupid shit actually happens you'll believe it should have & will just believe that the Great Conspiracy! is bigger than you imagined...

lol, no one said that, you boob. He was roundly criticized for holding this ridiculous press conference where he went on and on about how he thinks "she's bad! and does bad things! and nothing looks good and I really wish it was worse than it was! but ah....there is no crime here so like, yeah."

If you think any Clinton supporters or any other typical literate, critical thinkers were praising him for that faceless, self-serving circus of a political stunt, then it was part of the larger fantasy that you have running in your head.

I didn't think it was ridiculous. Given the findings of the inquiry, it was obvious he'd be publicly grilled by Congress so he didn't let them frame it- he framed it himself.

As for this letter, he learned to CYA. It gives the ravers something to speculate about, obviously, but I doubt it'll have the slightest effect on the election.

Hillary voters don't give a rat's ass about email bullshit. They care about Trump's bullshit.

oops...

https://www.yahoo.com/news/comey-wr...re-fbi-had-reviewed-new-emails-220219586.html

When FBI Director James Comey wrote his bombshell letter to Congress on Friday about newly discovered emails that were potentially “pertinent” to the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server, agents had not been able to review any of the material, because the bureau had not yet gotten a search warrant to read them, three government officials who have been briefed on the probe told Yahoo News.

At the time Comey wrote the letter, “he had no idea what was in the content of the emails,” one of the officials said, referring to recently discovered emails that were found on the laptop of disgraced ex-Rep. Anthony Weiner, theestranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Weiner is under investigation for allegedly sending illicit text messages to a 15-year-old girl.

As of Saturday night, the FBI had still not gotten approval from the Justice Department for a warrant that would allow agency officials to read any of the newly discovered Abedin emails, and therefore are still in the dark about whether they include any classified material that the bureau has not already seen.

“We do not have a warrant,” a senior law enforcement official said. “Discussions are under way [between the FBI and the Justice Department] as to the best way to move forward.”

It appears to be a delayed Fait Accompli on Comeys part.

No one is shitting beans that I'm aware of, but I think he just ruined his reputation badly.

US election: Clinton campaign condemns FBI email move

http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37813607

In a memo he acknowledged "we do not ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations". But he said he felt an "obligation" to do so given that he had previously testified that the FBI investigation was complete.

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta said the information provided by Mr Comey was "long on innuendo" and "short on facts".

There was, he said, "no evidence of wrongdoing. No charge of wrongdoing. No indication this is even about Hillary".

Another ally called the campaign’s mood something akin to “paralysis,” and blamed Weiner’s behavior for railroading the campaign.

One strategist said the developments would further cement the notion that Clinton has something to hide.

“It’s made people think there’s always going to be something around the Clintons, some investigation, some inquiry,” the strategist said. “It never goes away.”

The headline is bullshit. This isn't condemnation-

Speaking to supporters in Florida on Saturday, Mrs Clinton said: "It's not just strange, it's unprecedented. And it is deeply troubling because voters deserve to get full and complete facts.

"So we've called on Director Comey to explain everything right away, put it all out on the table."

Mrs Clinton has said she is confident the investigation into the emails will not change the FBI's original finding in July, which criticised her but cleared her of any illegal acts.

Quotes need sources.

Meh. Found it myself.

Of course it is.

Unless you mean it was not worded strongly enough, like calling Comey a "Yuge Bigly Dirty Corrupt Man from Ghina who Bleeds from Places".

Hillary doesn't mince words when it comes to condemnation. Remember the basket of deplorables? Trump being unfit to serve? That's condemnation.

She backed of that deplorable type of thing when she immediately realized that was the wrong path to go down.

Republicans in the Primaries found out you can not operate on his sleaze level and win, his supporters seem to be raised on reality TV to a large degree that eat his nonsense up.

He really does seem to operate on a Mussolini level.

How about this:

I find it rather humorous that conservative wingnuts and Trump people were all raising hell about the FBI Director when he did not charge Hillary during the first investigation, yet now they are praising him.

That's a link to reality, not your fevered dreams.
