What should worry everybody is, what happens post trump when, IF, a sane candidate takes over the white house. What level of retaliation torwards Russia are we speaking about? Realizing this, what kind of measures will Putin take to keep that from happening, keep a Trump in the WH, subvert american democracy once and for all? All that shit can escalate very very quickly .. of course my mind is already on the nukes but im paranoid like that.
In my mind? No retaliation. We just need to take a calm step back. Russia could not have done this without willing help, our problem is the willing help.

Well,@pcgeek11 negatively reacted to one of my posts, but declined to actually comment. I guess I struck a nerve with our resident boybaby. He doesn't even have the god damned words to even begin to try to protect his ignorance anymore. C'mon BOY, we're all listening.

Whether Trump is in that deep with Russia really depends on whether they actually have blackmail material on him or not. The minute he came out and said "I have had no dealings in Russia", that lie set him up for blackmail because Putin knows otherwise.

It's still rather silly as his rapid turn around he made after backing the Ukraine, early in his term, just to come out shouting, "America kills people too!", less than 48 hours later and supporting Russia again.

A bull in a china shop doesn't need to get orders from the anti-china league in order to cause damage, he just does what comes naturally. I don't think Putin ever planned on controlling the United States through Trump. He just wanted to get an complete idiot and ineffective President in office so America wouldn't interfere with Russian ambitions.

We know two things:

1) Trump has had some very shady dealings with Russians.
2) Trump seems to bend over backwards to assist Russia.

It's impossible to imagine that in between those two things is Putin saying, "It'd be a shame if this stuff was revealed".

Trump was under investigation for collusion with Russia and Russian ties. If you are colluding with and cooperating with Russia on their wishes then you are acting an an agent of Russia.

No, these things are not equivalent at all. If I give you money in a donation then you are not my agent. If I give you money which you accept to act FOR Russian interests and to work FOR THEM, then you are an asset/agent.

The latter is what we are taking about not. In essence a Russian operative elected, a willing Manchurian Candidate siding against US interests in favor of Putin.

You might as well say a spy selling secrets is the same as running for office, but this is far far worse than that.

If true this could meet the legal definition of Treason with penalties up to and including execution.

I disagree and I think you give Trump too much credit. It is likely that Putin is much much richer than Bezos. Agreeing to give Trump ten or twenty billion in deals would be enough for Trump to turn full-blown traitor, maybe a tenth of that or less.

Blackmail? Not needed, just thirty pieces of silver.

Not as long as Benghazi. Keep it in your pants, you'll have plenty of time to discredit Mueller's report when it comes out
I beginning to think that the Republican's purposely politicized their hearings not just to destroy any possibility that Hillary could be elected, but to turn the whole process into a joke for the future, Congressional hearings? What a joke, they're nothing but political theater. That's what we are going to start hearing as soon and the Dems begin to practice REAL oversite.

This is one of the most likely scenarios IMO. Trump basically says he’ll resign if pardoned and granted immunity. If he isn’t pardoned he will threaten to basically burn the country down on his way out.

I think your country deserves to have this motherfucker put through public trial ... one of the many things that will help you unite and heal.

This is how we know that

1. Putin is setting the US on fire and burning Trump along with it
2. Trump is a fucking dumbass

https://slate.com/news-and-politics...ls-of-putin-talks-from-his-own-officials.html

Cause these "talks" needed translators ... Putin is perfectly fluent in english, german, french, arabic, mandarin etc etc etc ... But no. This had to be done with translators. Why? Cause fire. Fire. Fire fire fire.

Dumbasses.

also... Im hungry

It’s starting to look like a very yummy burger

This is OLD News and nothing new at all.

I'll wait for Mueller's final report rather than overreact to sensational headlines by an obviously biased media channel.

I think that there were many at the FBI that were obviously biased in the extreme and would do nearly anything to throw Trump out of office Comey, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. They have since been fired thank god.

I think if they had anything that remotely indicated Trump was acting along with Russia there would have been some action to remove him from office by now.

Just think about how much ass you will have to clean out, beard first, when all this blows up... Wake up old man.

I will admit I am wrong when I am.

This article was dated March of 2017. In this article Comey is talking about the investigation "last year" which would have been 2016.

" Not only did Comey not inform the public about the Trump investigation last year, he didn’t tell senior congressional leaders."

You still haven't admitted you were wrong. You meekly abandoned thread, we see you boy.

And I think pence would be willing to pardon him too which would piss me off to a whole other level.

If we have a president who is a traitor, no less than the death penalty will be what I'm looking for.

On a side note: if trump turns out to be a traitor, get ready righties to hear the phrase, "I least I didn't vote for a traitor", for the rest of your lives.
