Double Dragon... Game was awesome. I remember the boss had his machine gun and wouldn't even be facing you and still blow you away... Ahhh, good times...

Here are a few more I recently recalled:

Spent a lot of time playing History Line 1914-1918 (max experience train mounted cannon FTW)

Battle Isle(don't remember if it was 1 or 2 or both...) was in the same vein as the above but scifi iirc.

and oh yeah, SimCity of course and also Dune 1 and the original XWING. All sick games.

Yes but it did work great on a 386. I know this for sure.
I also know for sure that it works awesome on an Athlon 64 with Windows XP.

My picks would be Moo1 and 2. Ascendancy was also good.
Elvira 2, Jaws of Cerberus.
Legacy.
Hell.
Doom was OK on a 386 but was excellent on a 486 or Pentium.
Same for Duke3D. Looks like crap with a tiny window on low res detail, but can still be fun. Ditto for Dark Forces.
Full Throttle <- Same thing. Playable on a 386 but DAMN, not great.
Siege.
I seem to recall Ravenloft: Stone Prophet worked OK. As did the Knights of Xentar.
Might and Magic games were good, but I think they went up in system requirements really fast.
SimCity classic.
I think I got 7th guest and 11th hour playing on my 386 but again, really crummy.
Dark Legions.
Warcraft ran like ass, especially the vids, but it was so fun it was worth it.

Bad Mojo. BEST. THEMESONG. EVAR!
