betcha the gfx wont look anything like that @ launch.

ubisoft, the king of liars.... been burned too many times by ubisoft showing off a product, only to receive something that didnt look half as good as they had when shown off @ E3

My advice is do not prebuy... or preorder unless u absolutely do not care about the gfx.

They will screw you at launch like they did in:

Watchdogs
Watchdogs 2
Rainbow 6
The Division

and every other game which came out.

I agree with you. The only 2 Games that I loved from Ubisoft were Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones and Assassin's Creed II, the rest didn't interest me much. I understand that there are some die hard fans of Far Cry out there, to each his own I guess.

I enjoyed FC 3, but felt 4 was basically the same game reskinned. Never even looked at Primal. Hopefully they mix it up a bit this time.

Far Cry 4 is superior in every way. Much better gameplay overall. Better UI and map. Way better characters, especially the villain. Slightly improved graphics, especially the lighting. Crafting was a heck of a lot easier but also more versatile at the same time.

People crap all over it cuz its more evolutionary than revolutionary but its still the superior game.

Primal was alright but had a lot of annoyances and ultimately just wasnt much fun.

Far Cry 5 looks like it will be very good especially since they axed the towers.

So, yeah. That sucks.

I don't understand why people get upset when a release date is pushed back. That just tells me they found something that needed fixing and need more time to polish the game. I could care less if this game went from Mar 27 to Mar 28 2019 - if we get a polished game at launch, I'm happy. There's been far too many games released ASAP and the consumers end up with a buggy broken mess (read: Dead Island's dev version at the midnight launch).

Not a huge delay.

Would be cool if they'd include a battle royal mode. It'd be close to PUBG in Montana with wildlife.

we usually don't but lately a lot of dev's have been doing it, and its becoming quite the habit.

They usually only delay the PC and keep on time for consoles too which aggravates us even more.

If this becomes a trend instead of lootboxes and day one DLC, I'm happy. Still, I'd rather the PC version get pushed back if it means we don't get an imported console nightmare like what WB did to us with Arkham Origins (the newest one - whichever one it is). You also have games like Skyrim and Oblivion which were given the horrible console UI.

Maybe it's because I'm not making as much money as I used to and I can't buy games on day one anymore, but I honestly don't mind waiting. I've never been that guy who has to have games the day they release unless I have a lot of friends who are going to buy it and I want to play co-op/online with them.

I was wondering what kind of wildlife they were going to have in Far Cry 5. If anything, they should have killer geese. Turkeys run, but geese will fight anyone - even had one try to fight my buddy's tractor.

Probably the reason why, at least in part, Valve never released Half Life 3.

Good point. I would have enjoyed a Half-life 3 even if it was just a slight evolution of Half-Life 2, so I wish they would have done it anyway :(

Whatever they put out, regardless of how good or bad, would have sold easily. But I think in the back of their minds they would never top the critical success of the first 2.

To me it's almost like when they cancel a show you really like without warning, and there is never a conclusion to the story (Deadwood being my biggest bummer). I wish we had gotten to figure out how HL3 would have ended.
