I played about two hours of it last night after it unlocked on Steam. I did have a technical issue where I accidentally clicked a button apparently assigned as "Close Window" on my mouse while in-game and assigning controls, and had to restart my computer before I could play again. Minor issue; definitely need to get the Logitech software for it and shut that shit off.
I only made it to my house and started exploring that immediate area, and took a peek at that Workshop functionality. Good Lord, that certainly has a ton of options.
There's small things that really make playing the game more satisfying. Stuff like the much improved loot pick-up and how you can mark materials required by the Workshop objects so when you see the loot in the world, you'll know instantly you're looking at something you need. The Pip-Boy is improved. You could spend an hour EASILY just creating you damn character's face (if you're so inclined). I can't wait to start leveling up and seeing how that system works.
The game looks and runs great, even on my older i5-750 with a Radeon 7870. I won't even get into the numbnuts bitching about the graphics in this game. SMH. I have mine on medium/high settings at 1920x1080 and am satisfied, but so far it's ran so well that I think I'll experiment with upping them a bit.
So far the only bug I've encountered was my hands (and pistol) disappearing while in the Vault. It made fighting a little more difficult, but I just did a Quicksave and then Quickload and that fixed it.
I've only just scratched the surface of the game so far, but man if I ain't chompin at the bit to play more. I'd give it a score but I don't think only two hours into the game can allow me to do that with any degree of authority. NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OFF WORK. lol
