Well said. Personally it looks fine for me. I'm normally a bit of a graphics whore but give me hundreds of hours' content at this level of pretty and this price and I'll call myself lucky. After a year or two, when the modding community has made it much prettier and introduced much more content, and I have plenty of options from which to choose in gameplay, then I'll play it again and have an even better experience.


Interesting, I hadn't heard much good about Mad Max. Is it single player first person?
EDIT: Never mind, looked it up. It's third person slasher/vehicular combat - not really my thing. Maybe when there are first person & copious shotgun ammo mods. 😀

Mad Max is basically grand theft auto in the mad max world without the story, and without the clever quests. It's good, a bit fun, very-much vehicle focused, but also very different.

Thought about getting it, but it's not a Microsoft controller - I'm not a fan of 3rd-party controllers. The CE and guide is enough money from me anyway.

I don't have an Xbox One, but my X360 controller has taken quite the beating over the years, so I've been thinking of upgrading to a One controller for my PC.
 
I told myself I would wait but man, the 11th is a holiday in Canada so I couldn't pass up a free day off to play and bought it. But holy shit Steam... 79.99$, seriously?? I ended up buying it on Gamersgate with the 20% coupon and it still cost 64.64$... gaming sure isn't for everyone these days. I didn't buy the season pass though, will be a cold day in hell before I spend 100$+ on a video game.

Facial textures quality hasn't improved much since Skyrim. Crysis released back in 2007 had better textures, but I only played Crysis twice, and never touch the series again. While Fallout 3 and New Vegas are still my favorite games.

I don't drink, smoke or do drugs. I really have no vices, unless you count gaming. That's where I spend my money.

I've been following Shoddycast for a while and I can't wait til tomorrow's episode - I suppose it'll be the conclusion of the chase and the end of the current season, since they'll likely want to use FO4's engine in the future (and look into the game's lore).
