Maintained a 4.0 for major and my liberal studies/electives up until this point. I'm in my last year of college. I didn't "round up" either--never got anything short of a 4.0 in any of my classes. I'm a CS major.
This semester I had my job (20 hrs/week), and 6 classes. Something had to suffer. Unfortunately it was the class I cared most about.
I don't even think it was the extremely busy schedule right now, but rather a culmination of burn out waiting to boil over. Extreme amounts of stress and I haven't had more than a day off in like 2 years (between school and work... I never could "relax" and get away from it). Even now, I'm trying to juggle between a billion people talking to me on the phone and that. I can't stand it all, feels like my brain is going to vomit from the stress.
I didn't get a 70, 60 or even 50. I'm finishing off with a 35. There won't be a curve, either. Everyone did extremely well in the class (senior programming) except me.
Tip to college youngins: don't try and juggle too much at a time, burn out bites us all in the azz.
Bah, think I'll go for a nice night walk with some cool, fresh air to calm down. Between this and finals and my GPA going to ****, I'm tired of the whole ordeal. So much for grad school.
