Maybe he is doing the responsible thing in calling for calm and civility so that the people you don’t think exist don’t escalate the situation.

Then immediately attacks & blames the media for the hatred & divisiveness he preaches while you make excuses for him.

were you born stupid or did you work on it your whole life.

Are you related to Trump because your vocabulary is earily similar to his.

Please post links to serious posts here saying Trump is the "mastermind" behind this or else stop beating the poor straw man he needs a break from you idiots.

It’s not my job to teach you how read. The posts are there.

There’s one right next to this one.

What are the odds this tracks back to The_Donald ..... 50/50 ?

Na, not a chance. This was not a pro job and Trump is too stupid to be an amateur. Just someone doing God's work, because Trump is certainly sent from Jesus.

I agree there's a liberal slant to mainstream news, but pres and his trumplings basically want 3rd-world state television dedicated to his deification, like we have here

Sometimes merely stating his policies verbatim like toms did with the semiconductor tariffs, leads to supporter uproar.

I love the Trumptardians speculating (and many of them fully believing) that this was really a democratic false flag hit job operation to make Dear Leader look bad with all of his really good brain words.

I need to think back to that time when the Democrats were in legion, speculating that the shooter at the GOP baseball game last year was really a republican true believer just trying to make democrats look bad. Yeah...trying to remember those details....yeah.

Leftist companies that execs cried at company meetings when Hillary lost.

Where the fuck do you think we are? Russia? In America companies can be left if they want. They can be right if they want. They can fire you for being a Nazi if they want and your President cannot protect you. Likewise a bunch of trailer park trash could form their own white supremacist company and fire anybody who still has all their teeth.

I don't think this is a false flag...I would think that false flag attacks would be one-offs to avoid detection, not multiple devices going out to mutiple targets.

But, I do wonder if the perp's motivations are truly political/ideological in nature, or just garden variety sociopathic/attention seeking. Either would explain the use of alt-right imagery/phrases to get maximum media coverage 2 weeks before elections.

Not talking about Trump. This line of discussion is about Chuck Schumer. Try reading the thread instead of knee jerking.

Some of the news media still feels an obligation to be factual. Facts have a liberal bias. Everybody knows this.

It's not like trickle down ever worked or that tax cuts for the Rich ever paid for themselves, is it? Of course not.

Outside of people being upset by Schumer's both sides bullshit, who in the left in this thread is calling for an end of civil discourse? The vast majority are bitching about how the president and majority party have ended any even feigning of civil discourse.

The fucking president of the United States is blaming the media for upsetting his fans to the point of bombing people and a huge chunk of Republicans are so mind warped they think it was a false flag attack with no evidence. But yeah, blame the Democrats for being upset that Schumer pulled a classic Trump both sides.

What's sad is these bombs will likely energize the Republican base and Trump's dick sucks were still all doing their idiotic chants last night. But yeah, you're right, it's the left that wants to end civility.

That's your reply to me being disappointed in the posts I've read here?
Haha... Yeah, as if I painted "the left" with "ending civility". You got anymore bullshit to sell us?

You have anymore straw men you need to tear down? Go ahead, I'll wait until you dial it back down to reality.

As for my comments, Schumer's initial statement was 100% correct. Calling for national unity against violence is the only answer for violence. The other potential action(s) would just be divisive, polarizing, and escalate, potentially leading towards further violence. If you have a specific beef with what Schumer said, then I'd love to hear that explained.

His quote:
Make no mistake: Despicable acts of violence and harassment are being carried out by radicals across the political spectrum—not just by one side. Regardless of who is responsible, these acts are wrong and must be condemned by Democrats and Republicans alike. Period.

There is nothing wrong in standing by those words.

It's quite remarkable that a guy who won the presidency screaming "Crooked Hillary!" & "Lock her up!" would blame the media for his rhetoric & more like it that pushed some nutbar over the edge into sending her a bomb.

We also need to be clear here. This wasn’t just against Hilliary, Bill could have been there too. That makes this an assassination attempt against two former presidents a former Vice President and members of congress.

Hopefully, whoever did this will pay dearly. Assassination attempts should have the perp doing life, especially due to the number of them. Imagine if they had been successful. There's good reason most of those targeted don't open their own mail.

Don't know if it's been posted but on ABC News tonight they stated that it appears all of the packages came from South Florida and that's where the search is focused on.

I hope our prognosticators are ready to deal with the very distinct possibility this is not a Trump supporter or even a republican (they are not the same thing)...

Trump, as their choice for President, is essentially the head of the Republican Party.
Their support for him is ALL he has. They define him. In return, he defines them.

Do not pretend the Republicans can wash their hands of him.

Second, what indication is there that this isn't some whack-a-doodle in a MAGA hat?
