lol We're talking about Trump here! He's a f*cking train wreck!

I agree. But you're missing an important point imo...not only did Russia attempt to hurt Hillary in the election (thereby helping Trump)...they immediately attempted to discredit the legitimacy of Trump's victory after the election. Their goal is to disrupt our political process and destabilize our country any way they can...and they're doing a damn good job of it too.
That is true. But if Trump and others are beholden to Putin... Well, I'll let you sort out what that means.

He was a lying, teleprompter reading, divider. That cost our country billions.

now i know you have to be trolling, this nation has never seen any politician who lies as much as trump does, by a long shot. Obama was a constitutional scholar who brought our economy back from the worst recession in decades.

you are either a racist, full of hate or just plain ignorant.

Can you explain to me how I am 'smearing' the site by simply pointing out articles it not only hosts, but actively advertises? Did you read the article I linked and does the author seem to be someone who is effectively able to separate fact from opinion? lol. It never ceases to amaze me that you clearly read such a wide range of insanely biased right wing news/opinion.

As to a link to the survey itself, I didn't say anything about the ACT survey, simply your site's response to it. The obvious question that would come from that is if professors think college students are significantly less able to do that now than in the past, adjusting for changing demographics in colleges. If they aren't, then we are simply talking about a standard feature of humanity so we are no more screwed now than we ever were. I would also guess that the standard that college professors use for that is higher than what most people would use.

It's a silly hit piece from a right wing website that fails to take even basic steps to validate its claims. Sure looks like they could use some advice on rational discourse, lol.
Don't you ever get tired of your horseshit trolling? I made a point that was backed up by a study (page 9 to be exact). That said, I find it hilarious that you feel in some way qualified to give advice about rational discourse. You're a hoot!

Geezuz Cries-t man, who did this to you? Who molded and provided your scale with which to measure reality? It has failed you dramatically and in drastic measure. Do you even feel the shift within you from rational thought to shit-can crazy? Please don't tell me you walk around completely in the shit-can a hundred percent of the time. There are padded rooms made specifically for that kind. I meeean, you can voluntarily have yourself institutionalized... Do the world that favor? Hmmm? Come on now, be that guy. It will speak favorably of your ability to be decent during those very fleeting moments of lucidity.

Since presumably you have not considered humanity screwed for its entire existence your point is only meaningful if the current situation is different from the past. If you think that pointing out your sources are comically biased and how your reasoning may have basic flaws in it is 'horseshit trolling' then I feel sorry for you.

If you were genuinely interested in rational discourse you might try addressing those issues instead of flying into a rage. I suspect you are not.

Let me ask....what do you think the chart on page 9 of the ACT study represents?

Manifort's under house arrest for tax evasion. Rev Al Sharpton owes $4.4 Million to the IRS and he's strutting around free.

Which one is more likely to be a flight risk due to a long and established international career? But yes Mueller decided to stick it to the white man because reasons. Or we're just afraid to lock up the black guy?

You pick the oddest things to be victimized by.

do you have any sources for that?
A quick google search shows that this story was circulating 2-3 years ago but also produces other results for many other groups of people who also own back taxes. The Forbes article also points out that his organization also owes payroll taxes. I also managed to find a 2008 story on NBC that shows an earlier back taxes issue and I've ignored fringe stories as outliers such as those that don't come from mainstream news sources.

It is very hard to take articles complaining about people's inability to discern fact from opinion seriously from websites with articles such as "indoctrination has always been the goal of progressive education".

http://www.intellectualtakeout.org/article/indoctrination-has-always-been-goal-progressive-education

Whoever makes that website needs to step back and take a looooooong look at themselves, haha.

It's tied to the Koch bros. and a few others like them.

Trump calls the NYT to say everything is fine:

So happy. Manfort who?

“I’m not under investigation, as you know,” Mr. Trump said in a brief telephone call to The Times late Wednesday afternoon. Pointing to the indictment of his former campaign chief, Paul Manafort, the president said, “And even if you look at that, there’s not even a mention of Trump in there.”

“It has nothing to do with us,” Mr. Trump said.

He also pushed back against a report published Monday night by The Washington Post, which the president said described him as “angry at everybody.”

“I’m actually not angry at anybody,” Mr. Trump told The Times.

Polls are amazing. I am amazing.

Mr. Trump added that he was buoyed by fresh polling he said he had seen from swing states, supplied to him by the Republican National Committee chairwoman, Ronna Romney McDaniel, earlier on Wednesday.

“I just got fantastic poll numbers,” the president said, listing what he saw as his biggest accomplishments, including a focus on deregulation and low unemployment rates. He did not cite any specific polls or reveal any numbers from Ms. McDaniel.

I work all the time and love long foreign trips that have to be cut short because I get cranky.

“I’m in the office early and leave late; it’s very smooth,” Mr. Trump said. “Honestly,” the president added, “I’m really enjoying it.”

Additionally, the president said he was looking forward to his lengthy trip to Asia, for which he departs on Friday.

Manafort has more going on besides taxes but we'll ignore that.
A Judge decided Manafort is a flight risk in other words he could choose not to show up a judge also decided Sharpton would not be irresponsible and he does not need to be arrested

@Doc Savage Fan i have no idea how your quote enddd up here sorry

One look at this forum and the mentality that pervades it gives you the answer...yes, we're screwed. Look at all the anger. Look at all the hacks here who live to ridicule anyone who doesn't share their opinion or live in their particular bubble. Hell, most here can't even separate fact from opinion (http://www.intellectualtakeout.org/blog/act-college-kids-cant-discern-between-fact-opinion). This is indeed about "my side" mentality and the rather perverse self-identity that goes with it. Yes, we are indeed screwed.

That explains Fuck your feelings! Lock her up! Build the wall! Drain the swamp! MAGA! & the rest rather nicely even if you can't believe that it does...

Obama should have acted a long time ago. This shouldn't even be an issue for Trump.

You know that, I think you are right. I think Obama dropped the ball on this one.

So what is trump doing to clean up this mess because last time a president had to clean up the mess of a former president I don't recall them ignoring the mess and blaming everyone else.
