The biggest thing I like about him is that he comes from the old school days of compromise. Compromise on both sides is needed.
I agree with you there. Of course, given the current political climate and his willingness to make fundamental policy shifts based on money and politics, I don't have a high level of confidence that he would take the same approach today as he did in the mid-90s.
I suspect it's academic anyway, because I think it's unlikely he will be nominated and even more unlikely he would beat President Obama in a general election, but one never knows.
