That's really funny. I only play shooters mind you, and mostly FPS at that, but my list is almost identical to yours with the exception of the Max Paynes.

And still haven't finished Bioshock 2 or Fear 2 yet....

Come to think of it now, rarely do I finish a game...

Edit: Oh and add me to the Far Cry 2 list. Did *anyone* finish that game?

Ooh pick me! :D

Forgot about Fallout 3...yeah, I haven't finished that either.

The last games to really pull me in were Mass Effect 1 and 2.

What's wrong with fallout 3? I played it on PS3 and thought it was entertaining, albeit a bit difficult in the beginning. Apart from that, it was funny and fantastic. I even got three of the DLCs.

Star Wars : The Force Unleashed ... got it earlier for my Xbox, should have known better. There's like zero difference, even the FPS is capped at 30.

That's the only game I can honestly call a turd. The others I liked more or less.

EDIT: There's also IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946. Why? I don't like plane simulators, I don't like WW2 games, I don't like games that take place in the past in general... No idea why I even bought this one :hmm:

Uhm... Alot... Let's see...
I fire up Killing Floor, Left 4 Dead 2 & Team Fortress 2, once or twice a month...
I've been trying to finish off the Half Life 1 expansions for about 3mo now...
Haven't started on Monkey Island 2 after finishing first a few weeks ago..
Been trying to play through Plants vs. Zombies, but kind of meh since I already played through it once year ago..
I still haven't finished Portal...
Got 3/4 way through SiN but got semi bored & uninstalled about 2 years ago, haven't gotten around to fplaying through all of it again & finishing it...
Been trying to knock off these Zombie Driver achievements, but burnt out on that as well...
Been working on Fallout 1 since last year, but meh on that too...

Biggest thing holding me back on majority of those, is not being able to play for extended periods of time without taking a toll on my wrist which is already uncomfortable from the carpal tunnel. PC gaming could use alot more games that thoroughly utilize a controller. Most that should don't, or severely half ass it.
etc etc etc - qqq

steam makes it easy to keep games off my computer. i play it, i finish it, i uninstall it.

the biggest waste of space on my HDD is probably all my PSone *.iso's

i have SO MANY psx games, and i don't play them too often. should really move them to my external, but i like to keep em around in case i want to play some FFT or something.

certianly not turds, but these are games i just can not finish, after devoting way too much time to them:

The Witcher
Bioshock
Just Cause 2.

all of them are fine games....I just lost serious interest almost instantly, for no apparent reason. trying to reply them is painful.

I enjoyed Just Cause 2, played around 11hrs of it but seriously lost interest and haven't touched it since. It's the same thing all the time.

Also Borderlands was like that to me. I played almost 20hrs but just stopped play. Every mission is the same as the last.

There's nothing wrong with it..it just didn't suck me in at all. I got bored with it pretty quickly.

Farcry 2

I'm somewhere in the second half, and I just can't bring myself to finish it. I get bored of the game by the time I drive to the mission location, so everytime I bring myself to play it, I end up killing a few guard stations then quitting without saving, thus never advancing the story

>.<

Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes. Like many a video game story starts these days, I bought it with mild interest because it was like $3 on a Steam sale.

The humor is basically over-the-top video game cliches, which I don't find that funny, and I'm not a fan of the genre of the game. I fire it up every once in awhile to see if I've suddenly grown a newfound appreciation for the game but every time it's the same: I shut it off within 5-10 minutes.

Same.

Civ 5
Dragon Age II

Both taken great games to plundering new depths in the bowels of Davey Jones.

bioshock. got to "the end" and then just said "fuck it"

I did the exact same thing. I sort of liked the game but I started getting bored near the end. After the "twist" I lost interest.

What else...

Counter-Strike: Source
Left 4 Dead
Team Fortress 2 (BALEETED!)
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl (I actually like it but the later STALKER games make this one look primitive even with mods)
Battlefield 2 (never play thanks to BC2)
COD 2 and 4
Far Cry
Alien Swarm (played once for 5 minutes, didn't like it)
World in Conflict
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
DiRT 1 (I have 2)
Fuel
ToCA Race Driver 3

Basically a lot of stuff I got in sales or bundles that I either didn't care for, or were made obsolete due to a newer game, or ones that I've just finished and moved on. I don't consider most of these games "turds," just some of them, but I don't play any and should probably delete some of them. Only thing is I actually do play some of them at LAN parties, just very infrequently.

The Witcher - tried starting it 3 different times but just can't get into it.
DA:O - Made it about 33hrs in and just got fatigued with the long as hell quests
Bioshock 2 - got it on a steam sale for $15, played one level, stopped caring

because everybody who has a different opinion than you is a troll?

No, because even if you don't like Planescape Torment it is far far far far away from being a turd. It is one of, if not the best RPG out there still.

Did you even read the OP?
You know - that game that you've lost interest in but can't get yourself to uninstall; you've made it pretty far and you know you'll never install it again if you give up on it now.
Clearly, if gothamhunter lost interest, then it is a turd for him, as defined by the OP.

yeah, that's the thing. Just Cause 2 is indeed quite fun and worth the price I pad ($7), it's just very repetitive. No storyline, either.

Borderlands is repetitive too, but I can't stop playing. :\ The loot system keeps me going. The story is nonexistent, but it does have great characters and dialogue, but that isn't the reason I play.
