Ever just feel empty?

Anyone here ever just feel empty? I've got a good job, I've got a nice home, I have everything I need. I just feel empty sometimes. Like there is something missing. It's not good or bad, not sad or happy. Just empty. Like there is nothing there.

I have a boyfriend of almost 3 years. He is great. That's not the problem though. It's just an undefinable emptiness. It doesn't make me sad, it's just there.

Maybe you need to breed and have little babies running around. :Q
Maybe its yoru maternal instincts kicking in.
Maybe you feel like you need to break free from the norm and travel the world, do the stuff that everyone wishes they could do, before you get old and have to settle down with the rest of us losers. 😱

i think that it is a common feeling for most people. is there anything simple that you just absolutely enjoy aside from drinking, drugs or sex? Like movies, music, computers? Well, indulge yourself in them. set up a nice entertainment center. invite friends over to a weekly/monthly bbq. get more social. other people is often a good solution.

otherwise, get charitable. volunteer some time at the local kid's center, food not bombs, habitat for humanity, planned parenthood., or become a mentor. all guaranteed to make a life fulfilling.

I don't drink or do drugs. I love to play games, but I find myself buying things to try to fill that void. But it's only temporary.
I think the volunteering is a great idea though. I never really though about that before.

I do after dropping a big load.

Seriously though, you might want to try drinking heavily or smoking a little reefer.

You feel like you are missing out on something in life but you arn't really sure what or maybe you know what and you are afraid or feel too left out to participate in it. Therefore you walk around your daily life ignoring what it is you really want to be a part of and because of that you feel like there is a void inside you that will continue to grow until it consumes you. Hope I have helped.

May'be so. I believe in God, but I don't go to church, nor am I active in any religion.
