It's fraking Cthulu. Say goodbye to your loved ones.
I'm surprised it took this long for somebody to mention the Elder Gods.

Meyer Werft Libra (Dawn) class, 92,345 tons.
No what's worse is nothing is wrong but something had to make that noise.
Most resonances are truly infrasonic although with high enough energies they become perceivable. I'm aware of those and conditions are not close to cause them. Even so this stood out like a cockroach in mashed potatoes, wrong chord in a riff! This happened and was over. No "aftershock" or anything. Just as if you're "doing it" and someone turns on the lights, then turns them off again. You jump, hit your funny bone. Now imagine that shock amplified a million times.
Shaft bearing?

Shaft bearing?
Maybe this guy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ko8CHrvPuJI is a witch doctor and has a few of these

We have pods so no main shaft. I've been on a Fincantieri vessel with shaft problems and felt some pretty bad vibration but that's immediately obvious.
I'm just going to  since everything is "all clear" and we're ok.

Yes and there are sensors galore on that system and everything is nominal. Same reading ranges as the prior day. If there's trouble on the horizon they know it long before it becomes audible. The pods are oil filled and the oil is constantly monitored. If the bearings start to go traces of metal show up in the oil. If water leaks in, the same. Long before real damage is done, they know.
In 2010 we had an engine explode that shook the entire ship. This felt stronger and different. That's about as bad (I hope) as it would get. Still no answer.
Well...since those little boats cost at least tree-fiddy...you'd expect them to have all the bells and whistles...
Im still waiting for the ATOT private cruise![]()
It would have be one big ass whale! If you're in a car and run over a mouse you would not feel it.
Confused sea and or gale driven waves over swells can cause a lot of ruckus but nothing like this. Water is quite calm.
I've had that happen to me before, when I was a kid. I was outside and the throbbing seemed to emanate from the air around me. it spooked me out, and I never did figure out what it was.
Engine exploding isn't real damage? :hmm:Long before real damage is done, they know.
