ever drank hennessy cognac? Why do so many rappers talk about it?

prolly cuz it's cognac and expensive....
I guess the Incredible Hulk (hennessy + Hypnotiq(sp?)) is a popular drink, but I've never had one...
 
Ugh thinking about henney makes me sick... I can just smell it. It makes me sick thinking about it but I always end up drinking it.
 
I have tried a lot of them...

Remy, Hen, Louis, etc....all sucked. Even sipping over ice I couldn't do them. I didn't do the Crys or the Dom/etc either...I always stick to my beer. Even a rum and coke fux0rz me...yet I can do 20+ beers in a day.

The chicks like the champagnes and the fruity drinks....Asti is a fav of many.

However, when you are drinking a $100+ drink, the bar and as a result the women take notes.

Hypnotiq is disgusting and Alize is for women.

The rest of the stuff they rap about is good stuff, especially the gins. I've had Remy, Hennessey and Couvousier, and to me they are not the type of drink you chug at a club. Dear god, some of the bottles cost an ungodly amount of money. I want to enjoy ever last drop of that drink just thinking about how much money it cost. Luckily I have a friend who has a large booze closet filled with stuff like that and I got to sample them for free!
 
Tanqueray Gin has been a top shelf gin since long before rappers.
Seagrams Gin has been a great inexpensive but still decent quality gin as long as I can remember.
Beefeaters owns both of them
Bombay Saphire owns all other Gins

WTF thinks of the cost as a reason to enjoy the drink anyway.

i have some hennessy around here...not my thing for sippin, but i use it now and again when i cook. particularly good in chocolate chip cookies, btw.

You forget Gordons Dry Gin...i'd rate that just behind Bombay Sapphire myself...above Beefeaters for sure 🙂
