Indeed I did forget gordons. My goal wasn't to name every gin, it was just to put Tanqueray and Seagrams in their place ... away from the top 🙂

Hennessy is one of my favorite drinks. Mix it with OJ, or Apple Juice, you'll see why it's popular. 🙂 I also have had Hennessy Privilege, it's even smoother.

just sub vanilla extract for a liquor, rum, bourbon, cognac, anythign thats 30-40% alcohol. i had a recipe that called for dark rum and all i had was some hennessy, so i figured why not?

youre only using a teaspoon or two, so its not strong, but its different, and tasty 😀

I'm not a huge gin drinker, so I haven't tried Beefeaters, but definately will now. Try Van Gogh if you haven't. Occaisonally I'll get the Seagrams lime flavored gin if I don't feel like going to buy & messing with limes.

Yes, fine cognac should never be mixed or watered down. If anything, just have it warmed up a bit. If you're going to mix it with kool aid or whatever, just buy some brandy.
 
Good Cognac is comparible to good Single Malt Scotches. They are meant to be drank straight (sipped, not slammed). It's a waste of money if you're mixing it with anything, unless it's the cheap stuff.

VSOP = Very Special Old Pale

XO = Extra Old

It's cognac with black vanilla from Madagascar (second most expensive spice in the world).

It's Hennessey, but sweet.
Stuff absolutely Rocks !
I always have some on hand 😉

to all you guys saying expensive drinks are nasty and worthless. I want you guys to tryo drinking fine alcohol for a few weeks then going back to cheap party alcohol drinks. I will guarantee you that you will throw up and see where the quality is in fine liquor. The only reason why rappers like it is because they can finally afford it and they are around it all the time. Ofcourse theyre gonna rap about it because they finally relized how good fine liquor is.

i have a bottle of beefeater at home, it is half decent.

I splurged and bought abottle of absente after watching that movie. It is decent too!
