Yeah I remember the first time I had Scotch, I thought it sucked, but then I kept getting nicer and nicer bottles of Scotch and aquiring a taste for it, and now I don't like to drink anything other than 18 year old Macallan's.
 
surprised no one mentioned GRAND MARNIER! navan and XO are aight, but grandma is the bomb, though extremely pricey. they have $3.00 airplane bottles which i highly recommend. It used to feel like I was breathing fire when drinking cognacs but i learned a trick about holding my breath and exhaling after swallowing, makes it much easier to sip on.

my liquer tastes are pretty vanilla.

bottle of vodka (smirnoff or SKYY)
some bacardi run
Korbel brandy
Jim Beam
and once in awhile some Captain Morgan

pretty simple stuff.

I think for kicks this weekend, I'll mix all of them into one gargle blaster drink. just a little of each, don't want to waste it, but I'll put that sum bitch down.
 
The first (and last) Cognac I tried, tasted like $h!t. I'll stick with my beer and the occasional mixed beverage.
