I think in the Chinese culture it's suppose to be good luck.
My friend one summer got pooped on twice in one week on the same block.

First time we were driving, he was sitting behind me/driver side back seat. I was making a turn and the crap apparently went through my window, right over my shoulder onto his pants.

Second time was on the other side of the block. We were standing there waiting for someone to pick us up. He gets crapped on his hair, we look up and we see the rear end of a bird hanging over the roof.

I got absolutely bombarded by a flock of low flying Canadian geese when I was playing volleyball outside this summer.

Nailed all over my head, body, legs, arms.

It was so bad, it felt like a coordinated effort to get me.
