Evanescence is like a watered-down poppy version of Tapping the Vein.

A far better band (if you're into the whole semi-goth-metal-female-vocalist thing) IMHO.

That's why I only listen to morning shows (Bob & Tom or Mancow), and then play my own music the rest of the time.

As for Evanescence, I saw them in concert about a month ago, and they were decent. Not the best show I've seen, but I didn't feel ripped off, like when I went to Creed's first tour.

They sound to me like a bad mix between Tori Amos & Limp Bizkit, i.e. "Limp Amos".

I bought that CD for a female friend of mine, and when we were listening to it the first time I was ready to shut it off halfway through. She just sounds like she's whining through the entire CD. Not my thing.
