Before you can say Evanescence suck, I hope you have listened to their album. Almost all of their songs on their album is worth listening to, so don't go saying crap JUST because you hear the same song over and over. Go listen to the album and then tell me how good they are. Yeeeeeeeeeeeee haw! :beer:
I think it's a pretty good album. It's too bad the single has that janky Linkin' Park sounding chode on it.

The reason people buy that crap is they don't know about Tori Amos or any decent goth rock groups like Bauhaus.
I think they've been fed the MTV mainstream rotation filler for so long all the good stuff has been buried.
So to them, this sounds new and ground breaking.

i didnt like them at first either. now i like the album alot. the version of whisper from their first album is good too.

I just saw them live the other night at the MTV Hard Rock Live taping here in Orlando. They were much better than I thought they would be. The best part was that after it was over a guy came out and said that two of the songs didn't record good enough so they had to do them over. They came back out and played two songs again. When that was done they played "One" and "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. Also, during their set they covered "Zero" by the Smashing Pumpkins. They did that one pretty well also.

I wasn't so eager to listen to their full album either. I've done this on many occasions to search for new bands/sounds to like. I put the thing on in the background and IMMEDIATELY I loved the sound of Everybody's Fool. If there's more than 1 song that deserves a lot of play on an album, I give it more of a chance. I was pleasantly surprised to hear at least 5 or 6 good songs on there...
So, Fobot and Fallenhero, do you like black metal? You can't say you don't unless you have heard every single black metal song out there at least once!
I've heard their entire album, and it still is not great. As a Linkin Park ripoff they're halfway decent, but the girl's voice indeed gets annoying in a few of the songs. But they suck well enough to be ranked up there with Britney Spears and NSync as pop bands.
