They have these $10 coupons off for each puchase; you can get the first for free by buying GTA V for free. First up: I just got Control for $19.99, by far the best price yet.

Anno 1800: $19.99 - I should play my other Anno first, since I haven't touched them.

Tetris Effect $17.99: Normally not a big tetris fan but the reviews make this sound great, likely buy

Witcher 3 GOTY: $5 for those who don't have it?

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Wow, $9.79. But I need to play Origins Gold first I haven't touched.

Red Dead Redemption 2: $37.99 Still not cheap, and too many mixed reviews

Satisfactory: $16.99 never heard of this, sounds interesting

Humble Bundle also has a charity sale going.
The Occupation: $16.79 for monthly subscribers. Never heard of this, sounds very interesting, probable buy

Borderlands 3 base $19.99/full $39.99 best price yet, but need to play 1 and 2

Journey to the savage planet: $7.99, gonna get this.

The Old World: $29.99 Not on sale except the coupon; the Civ V designer in a civ like game. Not quite I think.

Hmm. AC: Odyssey for $10 after credit or Origins for $5? Only AC games I've played are II and III.

Yeah, broke down and finally brought Control off the Epic Store. And I wouldn't worry about not playing BL1 or 2 before playing BL3. The story was always kind of hit and miss. BL3 is hella fun.

Now Civ VI base game is free.

They also have the platinum upgrade or new season pass for $30 each.

It's not so much for the story, as just feeling why not play the BL I already have first, it seems like more similar gameplay.

I recall hearing that this coupon code also works on DLCs, which the previous coupon -- issued around the new year -- did not. I'm not really sure what I'd get though. I thought about getting the Control DLC since I already have the main game.

It's a choice of season pass with two DLC's, one coming later, for $15, or DLC 1 for $5.

Decided to get the Borderlands free games as well. Have not played them before. Gonna give'em a go.

So I imagine the Prequel gets played first ?

If it meets the minimum price then DLC qualifies for the current coupon.

Opinions vary on this but I am a fan of the series and would suggest playing the prequel last because it is so awful it might put you off the other Borderlands games which are far better by comparison.

Keep in mind that it's the "Pre-sequel". It's effectively Borderlands 1.5, which was actually released after Borderlands 2 and created by 2K Australia to fill in the gap between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3.

Which sounds a little confusing, so the story is between Borderlands 1 and 2, but the release is between Borderlands 2 and 3.

well, because it is the pre-sequel. it's not a prequel or a sequel--it comes before teh sequel (which was BL2).

And Aikouka, I dont' recall that it fills in anything between 2 and 3--because I don't think Lilith or the others make an appearance? It basically tells the origin of Handsome Jack through some BL2 villains (one of which makes a prominent appearance in BL3, that nothing about her in BL3 is relevant to TPS; and another that is kinda tacked on at the end of BL2 as some sort of....captured person.) ...I think that charcter is supposed to be part of the one of the upcoming DLC in BL3, though, but as of yet, nothing in TPS has really connected much to BL3.

The carryover free DLC was released for BL2 about a year ago, to act as the direct bridge to BL3. I played through that once, though I don't remember much of it being that relevant either, other than "Scooter is dead for some reason."

If you're referring to the "Commander Lilith" DLC, it was only free for about a month. It's $14.99 now (I think).

Ah, when I said bridging the gap, I meant by providing a game in the franchise since there was quite a gap between Borderlands 2 and Borderlands 3. (They were released almost seven years apart.) Although, even with that, there was still five years between the Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 3. So, I guess it's not that helpful. :p
