As a lifelong NYer, I can safely say that it's really NJ drivers that are perpetuating NJ's bad rap. Every once in awhile I forget how much I dislike NJ, and then a driver with NJ plates almost runs me down while I'm crossing the street or runs me off the road with their unsignaled, didn't-check-the-blind-spot lane changes and it dredges up everything I hate about the state once more.

Anyone who has seen Garden State knows nice parts of New Jersey exist, but unless you actively search them out NJ is represented mostly by it's worst traits: the Turnpike and their drivers.

Bergen County is one of the richest counties in the entire US. If you are a car enthusiast, you will see tons of nice cars here. On the same day I got my brand new car, I saw an orange Lambo Murceliago (sp) and a yellow one. I must see an average of 2 of the new M5s here a day.

This part of NJ is definitely not one to be looked down on.

Same goes for Morris County. Drive through residential areas Chatham or Mendham and you'll see why.

mountain lakes is the worst. i graduated from there and those rich spoiled students drive expensive cars.

Ha! and New Yorkers will go flying down a city street, running yellow/red lights and ignoring pedestrian crossings... then get on a highway and die at 45mph in the left lane.

😉

There's a huge difference between my mechanic & the guy pumping my gas. I rank the gas guy the same as the cashier at the grocery store. Sometimes you have to tell them not to put the eggs at the bottom of the bag.😀 BTW,you didn't answer the question. How much is full serve premium in your neck of the woods?

No full serve here.

Yes, you have cheaper gas. My point is that it would be even cheaper if you had the OPTION not to go full-serve. And I still say that "Please don't drench my car with gasoline" should NOT be a necessary instruction at any gasoline station.

haha but they offer education for deaf students so i went there.

keep on bashing jersey because you've never been to specified areas!

go to some areas in essex county other than newark such as caldwell where sorpranos film there frequently, verona, livingston, short hills and fairfield. morris county has great areas to visit too. go to downtown in morristown is very nice.

p.s. my mom hates caldwell so much because sorpranos increase the traffic that blocks my mom from going home after work. 😛

Except Phillipsburg, Phillipsburg sucks. Hunterdon County > Warren County. Hunterdon County lacks Phillipsburg.

LordJezo was from P-Burg 😀

Heh... err... another plus for Hunterdon County 😛 The house JoPh posted definitely wasn't in P-Burg though. 🙂

Devils > (Flyers * Rangers)^infinity

jeez. NJ drivers only "appear" to be bad because we are the densest state with an assload of drivers in a small area. So the likely hood of there being a stupid driver, or you getting into an accident is much higher.

It's a decent possibility, definitely. They've been playing great hockey lately.

Doesn't matter you got no fans. Rangers fans bought most of the tickets at the meadowlands, it was not even sold out.

It's due to poor location of the stadium.
The only reason why the rangers knicks sell out is cuz it's in the city. Not to mention most are probably sold to corporations.

IMO about 75% of the people that regularly bash NJ have probably never even been here. NJ has gorgeous areas, it's not all the Turnpike.
