A paintball gun? Man, talk about worthless...Dude, WTF were you thinking?

I was thinking you could use it to hit trees and mark your areas so you won't get lost and such, but you could do that with a knife, really.

What do you do when the paint washes off? Or you run out of paint and CO2?

Yes, a knife would be much better.

I would have at least a .22 and 10,000 rounds. That would be much more useful than the paintball gun or sling shot, IMO.

I guess you might as well add a truck to this list too.

Just get a knife, an elastic and a piece of rope then you can live McGyver style.
I was going to say 20,000.

Hence the .22. I don't know how much 10,000 rounds would weigh, or how much space it would take up, but it would be a necessity. I would rather carry a .22 and 10,000 rounds than a paintball gun, sword, and throwing knife.

i sure in the hell wouldnt. granted a paintball gun and sword is kinda silly. carry a nice hatchet or axe both of wich would be usefull. a throwing knife? sure only if you are damn good at it

I think your best plan of attack would be to have multiple caches spread out over many miles. A gun might not only keep you from being killed, it would be the best means of obtaining more protein.

i would add a gun and as much ammo i can carry after i had what i thought i really needed to survive.

such as

tent
sleeping bag
hatchet/axe
folding shovel
fishing line, hooks
good skinning/hunting knife (they are small and make skinning so much easyer)
flint (3-4 of them. they are small and very usefull)
some medical supplies
minamal cooking supplies (small good pan)
bow/some good arrows
compass/map

after that maybe a rifle and ammo. might be able to find more ammo for short time.

you can find clothes,shoes etc.

if possible i would get a good bike with bags and pack more.

A couple of my buddies and I will take over the local Walmart and Sams club. Both are close to one another.

Plenty of supplies, there ready and waiting. Walmart has guns and ammo. Each have generators. Both are pretty well fortified. We can use bags of topsoil to create bunkers up top for sharp shooters.

And a few wimmens to repopulate the world with my genome.
