I like that the NY consul said the celebration honors "the 1.3 billion Chinese people and the 60th anniversary of their country" when Chinese culture is one of the oldest on the planet, and the land itself, despite numerous redrawings of the boundaries, has been known as China for hundreds of years. 60th anniversary of a revolution maybe, but not their country.

Closing down factories, firing all the employees, and shipping all manufacturing jobs overseas where they can be done for pennies on the dollar without reducing the price customers pay, netting an enormous increase in profits for executives and shareholders while the former employees get nothing?
