I wouldn't go with slycat suggestion, because antibiotic is not the answers to all cure. Antibiotic should be taken seriously, because it weaken your immunity and strengthen the bugs to develop more resistant to it...making antibiotic not as affective in the future, when you really needed it.

that is an anti-biotic............ prescription. You don't need it.

Ask the pharmacists for assistant, because they will be the best people to give you the answers.

Here's my Home Remedy Pimple TREATMENT/PREVENTION...

in the morning... use your saliva...apply to face, then clean off... (pee works too but many may not be comfortable with that)

steam face before doing any popping, cleaning n stuff... by turning up hot water in the sink and cover my head with a towel so that the steam stays in and loosen my pours for easier cleaning popping and blackhead removals.

always wash your face ... at least every 3-4 hours... that helps!!!

any convential face cleanser would work with this process.

the best way to destroy the pimple and disappear fast is to prick the top and then squeeze gently. however, since its in early stages, you best not irritate it. and you dont want to st@b the skin with a needle (itll work, but redness will be around for a loonng time). so your best bet right now is to either draw the pimple to a head, and then extract it, or try to supress it. both would take a day at least.

try 2.0% benzoyl peroxide to draw it out
or dry it out with some kind of masque. ive found queen helene mint julep to work good

check acne.org if you are scared. the forums etc.

DON'T wash your face every 3-4 hours. It will only dry out your skin and you'll likely break out even more. Your face is oily for a reason, to protect the skin.

That's right. Wash it in the morn and at night (unless you go to the gym/do physical labor/etc.) Just put a hot compress on it to draw out the infection. It will either dissapate under your skin, or at the worst bring it to a head at which point it is easier to get rid of than if all the infection was submerged under your skin.

I'm not a dermatologist but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express one time.

DON'T wash your face every 3-4 hours. It will only dry out your skin and you'll likely break out even more. Your face is oily for a reason, to protect the skin.

You are right that oil is what keeps our skin moist, and protect a protection layer from the environment. But, oil is what encourages bacterial growth. It is a dilemma, but locally drying out an infected area is a good method to hamper bacteria growth.
