Interesting... does that really work? I would think the heat would irritate it, but it'll make it disappear in a day or two...

Gregg is sharp.

Proves that despite what people says, you still look at every joined date and post count.

Aren't there plenty of pimple/acne treatments at drug stores? I remember a TV ad for one a few years back that claimed to make a pimple disappear in 24 hours or so.

Well, what I sually do is, I don't worry about it - that is, it naturally goes away for me - esp. when I work out like a madman and then take a long, hot shower.

I guess that kinds reinforces the 'heat' idea . . . regardless, you should be fine. ;)

Windex.

Just kidding.

Gently pierce the pimple with a clean needle and use a hydrogen peroxide cotton swab to clean the bacterial infected area. Try to clean the area twice a day once in the morning and once before bed. And, try not to touch it during the day, also keep all makeup away from area to speedup the healing process.

PS. Poping it is not going to give you scar. Scaring come from poor healing process from infection.

20 bucks for zit cream?

I would recommend Oxy 10 tinted from your local drug store. Covers and conceals for under 20 bucks.

I just pop em. The scar fades away on my face after about a week or two. Better than having this huge weird looking thing on my face

I'm not a doctor, but the chemical makeup of the above drug is benzoly or (benzene) that is an agent that dry out your skin. However, I feel that anything that you can use to protect the sensitive skin from the environment would do the job after disinfect the area. You can use natural oil base cream to protect the skin against infection & wind ++ some thing that block the sun from irritate the area (such as zinc oxide).

Okay... I really don't want to spend $30+, so I've decided to try the rubbing alcohol (to disinfect), warm press with a clean towel, and possibly the mint julep mask after that.

You're all the best... :) Hopefully it's gone by Friday evening...

just pick it...it won't scar if its on the forehead...only if its in the lower T zone.
however, if its not ripe yet, don't bother...u'll just anger it into spawning its brethens.
Only real true way to get rid of it FASTEST...when i say that i mean 2 days...u need antibiotics.
If u can get some erythromycin 250mg...take 1 tab every 4 hrs...in the next 48hrs that pimple
will be gone and u'll be somewhat detoxified...and glowing for the weekend trip. Its the only real
proven way....the rest are hit or miss....mostly miss, if ur trying to get rid of it within 48-72hrs.
