Although I'm no fan of his, I don't think we all need to dunk on him or feel sorry for him. At least some of his cost basis was pretty low IIRC; and although it's highly unlikely, maybe he took some profits off the table earlier this year when he should have. I would agree he was condescending in different threads (not just Tesla) so this is by no means a defense of his posting history.

If we had to guess, he still thinks Elon is god and Tesla will ultimately be a top 3 automaker in volume while dominating industry profits like Apple iPhones. I say let the man dream all he wants to.

He is misrepresenting his positions. He states above that he only put $55K in crypto all told, yet here he is saying that Crypto is his 'insurance'. Insurance for what at 55K? Give me a break.

I bought more DOGE today on Coinbase. And my Robinhood account will soon have lot of DOGE as well.

and posted in October. Coinbase has halved since then in price. And it's not looking to get any better as crypto's scam has been revealed.

I'm very bullish on Coinbase. It's my second largest position after Tesla. I really like Brian Armstrong and how he has grown Coinbase. I believe they have unbelievable growth opportunities ahead of them and Brian is the right guy to lead the company. I think my Coinbase position will eventually turn into multi bagger and make me millions. I'm holding 1,500 shares of Coinbase and sold bunch of puts. I haven't sold any covered calls because I think Coinbase is going to explode up one of these days, and I don't want to lose my shares for cheap.

The guy is totally downplaying his losses because money is his primary identity.

I don't mind calling him out because all he did was be an arrogant prick and demean everyone else here because they couldn't be as rich or as smart as him about money. One of the single most terrible things about a society is that too many people only place a person's total value on their wealth. He contributes to that horribly.

He lost a shit ton of money and while I'm sure he is fine, his portfolio crashed quite a bit and quite hard.

First, because there used to be a rule here that it wasn't allowed to call out/at-mention posters who had not already posted in a particular thread. Not sure what happened with that.
Second, because while I'm not interested in defending ponyo, I do recall posts from him months ago acknowledging that he thought he got lucky with TSLA but did not consider it a long hold.
And finally, because I personally go to great lengths to avoid personal financial discussions on anonymous internet forums and encourage others to do the same. And that's because such discussions are pointless. Little different than an e-peen contest. Nothing can actually be proven, and as such no reasonable person should accept any claims as credible.
