Oh, no doubt about it. Just reading his posts full of contradictions and hypocrisy makes me not want to engage in a fair conversation.

Oh yea, and his preferred political party argues in this fashion as pillar of their philosophy. It's nice to throw it back at 'em from time to time, even if they can't see what you're doing.

Right. And I only wonder how you can engage with such mindsets. Some say to just be open and listen to them. But when their reasoning is full of holes, how can you give a stage to such fallacies? At some point, someone has to say, enough. No one benefits from entertaining such mindset for so long. Anyway, back to my cave <.< >.>

The free market can address housing as the market demands.

It’s basic capitalism.

I think Greenman's fantasy of a slaughterhouse being built in the center of his utopian gated golf community would fade rather quickly if he actually took the time to ask a potential slaughterhouse owner if they have any interest, purely from a business perspective, of building their slaughterhouse in or near a dense residential area.

I assume this is all about high density housing? I have no issue with that, in an area properly developed for high density housing. That would be an area zoned for high density.

No, this is about whatever density of housing the market finds appropriate.

As far as residential zoning goes - that’s what got us into this mess.

Why do you hate capitalism? 😂
Why ask a question that doesn't pertain to the issue? Controlled growth and usage are critical in large scale housing. You don't randomly build a high rise without first making sure it will work. If the existing infrastructure is inadequate your shiny new building is worthless. The same applies to tract homes. If the sewer system is overwhelmed every morning it's not going to be a pleasant place to live. Access is also a big issue.

You're confusing a city making sure the appropriate infrastructure is in place or part of a project's plan with zoning. They are not the same thing. Related certainly but not the same thing. All of the concerns you expressed can be covered through the permitting process.

So to be clear your fear is that without zoning developers will take out millions and millions in loans to build high rise buildings where no one will want to live. I'm sure they are grateful for your concern but I think it's best to let the free market figure this one out.

I was poised to reply with something like this but I decided not to waste typing the text 😂 It's how Mr Greenman responds to many issues in question.

Banks and institutional investors who put money into these projects famously don't care if you can fill them at the modeled rents. lol.

The first Tweet every single time I load it up now is a Pro Elmo Tweet. No amount of removing makes it stop it seems...

Not exactly a crowd that's gonna be hard left at that show. I'm sure it hasn't occurred to Musk that he's an asshole and people can see that. Most arrogant narcissists can't conceive the problem is them.
Was gonna post something akin to this though would point out you can be hard left and not cancel culture participant. Daves crowd is definitely not cancel ready and def left leaning and this crowd decided to cancel Elmo on the spot.

Then there's this little gem...

Nice how he makes fun of the LGBTQ community with his pronoun shtick and riles up the rubes that want someone who was a dedicated public servant, that has dedicated his whole career to saving lives like Fauci dead in one tweet.

Ok "prosecute". Funny how a guy that makes fun of pronouns named his fucking kid "X a e 12" or some shit. This asshole seems to want Trump level toxicity. Plus Dave Chappelle claiming that all the boos were coming from the “poor seats” or whatever just goes to show how much contempt he has for his audience. What the fuck happened to this guy? Chappelle is not getting it. Groveling to billionaire's. His comedy is not charity, he is getting paid for it. The crowd there didn’t pay to see Prosecute. They paid to see himself and Rock, plain and simple.

It’s absolutely comical that prosecute is spending the coming days frantically trying to scrub the video from Twitter by deleting accounts. Free speech!!!
