I mean, the bad guy in Total Recall was willing to deprive everyone of oxygen. It doesn't seem like much a stretch for Musk to hypothetically pull similar if he could.
I must admit that I wanted a mars base moon base and asteroid mining so bad that I was willing to overlook Elmos shortcomings and sacrifice a couple of you in the name of progress… Like you know, Von Braun is gonna Von Braun I guess, gotta break a few chickens to make a stew. I think Braun was a full blown Nazi right? Not a great picture I know.
But spaceships man. How cool is that. Next frontier and shit.

But Elmos Achilles heel looks to be Elmo. With nothing to contain his inner Nazi he has gone critical mass and we’re now trying to Chernobyl his ass best we can.

We cant have fucking Nazi spaceships and a human colony on Mars going Sieg Heil Sieg Heil.

Still have some shares that I purchased a long time ago before all the splits happened. Just waiting to sell so I can vote no on Elmo pay package and the re-incorporation in Texas and then I am out. Not worth it.

just submitted my votes, think I will sell soon. I basically voted against all of their fors (Kimbal Musk on the board, WTF?), and for all of their againsts.

fuck that dbag.

Yup I just submitted my votes and did the same. If the board was for it, I was against and if the board was against I was for it.

Dude that hits straight home for me.
Can you imagine Elmo fucking up a Mars colony going on one of his tantrums?

Zach Weinersmith (SMBC webcomic) was on a podcast explaining why its basically infeasible to try to actually establish human colonies on the Moon or Mars, so it'll be one of those things that keeps getting put off because it obviously makes no real sense to do. I'm hoping we'll get some nice schadenfreude like the ones that took the sub to the Titanic.

You know he is gonna wreck more shit if he doesnt get his way right?

So you're saying we should give him a free pass because he's a piece of shit that will do worse?

I actually think this might be a critical point. He's heavily leveraged on the Twitter deal, in fact I'd maybe go so far as to say he might be kinda stuck financially if he doesn't get this money. But give him this and he'll be able to keep operating like he has been. Without this money, his mouth is gonna write checks his ass can't cash. He's gonna be a piece of shit either way, using Tesla to tell him to fuck off and eat shit would be a nice way to send him a message about his limitations. Especially after he just lost the case over the SEC Twitter postings.

Plus he's desperate to push Tesla back up (hence the layoffs), which tells me he's must be feeling heat financially.

And surely after these protesters experience the utter destruction in Gaza that will surely make them love Israel and American support for Israel and make them understand the error of their ways.

What a fucking genius!

I'm all for it, as long as he's paying for it. I'd love a vacation paid for by dumbfucks like him.

Truly a galaxy brain for the ages. There's a reason why galaxies have black holes in their centers...

Reminds me when I cared enough to send my proxy vote in for my own company stock. Whatever they were for, I voted against.

With a tonnage of bias I guess you could infer that.

I am thinking that if Tesla goes under we already got critical mass in terms of EV's taking off, so I say let it burn. Let him burn it down.

How does it go... "People Who Say It Cannot Be Done Should Not Interrupt Those Who Are Doing It".

stumbled across this post tonight. I didn't even post a thing. Everybody just gets it. So many people see Elon for the giant piece of shit he is. It is just a bit re-assuring at least during these trying times. Great comments on here

Yea I saw that, to tout my own nostra dumbass contemplation, I've got a post somewhere in this thread that speculates into FSD actually requiring a hardware upgrade and what it would cost Tesla to back-install on all existing vehicles on the road today. A fuck-ton of money.

I saw a Jim kellar interview the other day, he didn't think fsd is a problem for ai, but he did talk about needing a raw level of flops ( well above what's in a Tesla) and if you have less flops you need significantly better software. Given he worked for Tesla probably some insight in that view point.

From what I understand (and how I interpret FSD on Tesla’s website) all Tesla’s have all the hardware needed for FSD.

If that is true that contradicts what Keller says cause he sad it needs more compute power than what is available in Tesla’s

Only one of the 2 can be correct

My bet is Keller is correct

That and

"The scenario there is if the government is really serious about Autopilot, and frankly, I don't remember the last time NHTSA investigated the efficacy of a recall remedy... he knows that NHTSA is insisting on a hardware fix for Autopilot and FSD," Niedermeyer said, referencing the auto safety regulator's unusual decision to apply extra scrutiny to Tesla's 2-million-car safety recall, announced last week."

Just as obvious that if you fire the people with institutional knowledge about your product, everything will generally turn out just fine. Right? It worked when he did it for Twitter, and evidently it's shaping up to be yet another brilliant move with Tesla. Truly, we stand at the feet of one of the most genius geniuses what ever geniused.

It's almost like Tesla was run by a 5 year old on a sugar high with a temper tantrum.

Warren Buffet, an extremely smart investor, has skin in the BEV game. Unfortunately for Musk, and maybe Musk is too stupid to understand this, Buffet is betting against Tesla.

Crazy letter to super charger suppliers:

So Musk woke up one morning and randomly decided to fire the supercharger department in it's entirety, and now that department is experiencing a fair bit of chaos because there isn't a contact list, a file full of contracts and work orders, or a general ledger. That about right?
Including the sob story at the end of the article was a nice bit of theater.

It’s really on brand for you to refer to the real world impacts of Musk’s poor decision making and frankly shit business sense as “a nice bit of theater”.
