They are only silent because the bubble you live in has no Liberal voice. They obviously don't condone death threats, but there is a big clear distinction between the two cases. One has the defendant calling the judge impartial because he has Mexican heritage as the only reason the judge has ruled against him. The other is a universally perceived miscarriage of justice from both sides.

Get out of your bubble.

In both cases a party sees the judge as biased. You only have a problem with trump.

Nothing like inventing a minority heritage to propel your obscure career in academia, to that of the Ivy League.

How about plagiarism? Warren contributed to the Chow Wow Pow Cookbook of Indian recipes. Included were "Cold Omelets With Crab Meat", "Crab With Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing" and "Mexican Oatmeal Soup."

Somehow these "Indian" recipes were copied word-for-word from previous articles in the NY Times and Better Homes and Gardens.

Her husband, also a fake Indian, contributed an old Native American favorite, Oriental Beef Stir-Fry. And guess what? His recipe was copied word-for-word from the Oswego (NY) Palladium Times.

But don't let these facts confuse you.

She didn't gain anything from the claim. I have a similar story in my family that my Grandmother's Grandfather was married to a native American Indian. Could I make a similar claim, possibly but who knows.
The Indian talk is funny but again she gained nothing from it. The talk is just a distraction.

From 1983 to 1987 Warren was a professor at the Univ of TX Law School. Then in 1986 she lists herself as a minority in the Association of American Law Schools directories. In 1987 she gets into Univ of Penn Law School as a fully tenured professor. When she moved over to Harvard, they publicized her as a minority. This was in response to government criticism of Harvard's lack of faculty diversity. The Indian talk is not funny, if you were the minority who didn't get hired, because Warren misrepresented her racial background.

Meh
Does this mean you support affirmative action?
Judging by her minority support seems like they don't care either.

They are only silent because the bubble you live in has no Liberal voice. They obviously don't condone death threats, but make bomb threats to conservative events they don't like on a regular basis.

Fixed that for ya.

Affirmative action is the law of the land. The courts have upheld this.

People get fired for being too creative on their resumes. They may claim that they have a degree or specific experience in a field, when they don't. There was a Director of Admissions at MIT who was considered by her peers to be the nation's leading admission's authority in academia. Low and behold, someone discovered that she lied on her resume about her degrees, and she is summarily fired.

But you asked if I support it. It is irrelevant to the topic, but I never have. I consider it another form of discrimination.

Do minorities support her? Of course they do. That is clear. There are a lot of minorities who seethe under their tongues that Bill Clinton referred to himself as the first black US president. The late Sen Robert Byrd founded a chapter of the Klu Klux Klan in W VA. Yet he was a leading senator in the Democrat Party. Hypocrisy will rule the day, when you believe that you can exploit a situation for your benefit.

^^^funny I've had to remind job offers in the past to people who put degrees down that they didn't have. Funny thing was the position didn't require a degree.

And all through it now, of course. The lack of self perception among some our posters is pretty astounding, huh?

It's just...Bloody hell. What next, we're gonna be calling Obama Little Black Sambo?

I really don't know why I'm surprised, seeing that it's the usual culprits, but, Jesus Christ. That's a new low.

Do you really think she has any Indian blood in her veins?

The "first black president" was something said about Clinton. If he said it himself, surely you have proof, right?

And the usual "they're just as bad" reference to Robert Byrd.

Desperation takes many forms.
