8. OMG, I never knew these shootin' newbies could get headshots with pistols and rifles from moving vehicles, OFFROAD!!!!

this.

its as annoying as "bad guys cant shoot the good guys even with a minigun" think A-Team, and the "Hollywood never run out of bullets".

It's not. The waterfall is just on a small dam to an anonymous pond.

I know. It was only in the aftershow that I realized what they were pointing to was the prison in the background and not the waterfall/lake.

The prison is way out beyond the forest in a clearing. It looks like its a good 30 minute hike from their current camp

Again, it was only a quick point, but I did not see it while watching the show..... I guess because it was so different from the CB I was not expecting it to be there?

Add to it this:

How many times does the old man shoot the recoil-less shotgun, underarm, before he stops to reload?

With all the Head Shot replies to the bar scene, I keep thinking of "While he should have been a better shot and got him in the head"...... (BHS - Electric Larryland)

and what are they using in the shotguns? 00 buck or slugs? either way you need to be up and personal to ensure a headshot

^^To ensure a headshot, sure. But they can happen. 00 buck works to about 25 yards, and slugs to 100. Shotguns are more accurate with those than given credit, but I still have no faith that they could hit them from vehicles. Somehow I doubt they get (that much) drive-by shooting practice. They were doing pretty well with the firearms realism until today, when they went back to the old Hollywood standards. Blanks are almost always used for big shootouts like these and actors aren't usually good at imitating recoil, especially if they haven't done a lot of shooting.

so this killer ninja zombie hunter or whatever, wouldn't she not want to make a bunch of noise with her being chained to two zombies?

She's not chained to them, the chains are in her left hand.

I wonder if Darryl will turn out to be that Governor guy I keep hearing about...

No, he won't.

Announced S3 casting "spoilers":
AMC announced that David Morrissey has been cast as the Governor, but Darryl will also be back in season 3. And Danai Gurira is cast as Michonne.

Was funny seeing Hershal shoot about 50 rounds out of his shotgun without having to reload. Dont those things only hold maybe 6 rounds? And im sure reloading is not super fast like a clip would be.

It sure is getting annoying them commenting about using their knifes more and they keep hiding from one individual zombie on the road instead of easily killing it off as they show people do at times.

Kill enough off and it will help you in the long run as it seems the zombies will stick around for long periods of time.

i would be using spears not knives.

if you get bit you still die. so ya im not going hand to hand combat with a zombie. ill be grabbing a long sharp stick before that happens.

Alll the bitchin' and whining aside, I LOVED the video game-like assassin introduction!

My way of "dealing with it" was to ask for some common courtesy (similar to the comics discussion issue). But, I guess asking that people be considerate to other members makes the requester the bad guy.

Geez. Other than 3 freaking hours a week, have at it. On Sunday nights, if you are ahead of others in the nation (not counting Alaska and Hawaii), I do not believe it is too much to ask to hold off on "Dale had to die", "It's about time Rick killed Shane" or "Lori's such a bitch". Such insightful comments probably have a sufficient shelf-life to survive 3 hours.

I didn't watch the show until today. you shouldn't be able to post until I watch it! this is the most stupid thing i have ever heard.

i just watched the show today. i had enough willpower to NOT CLICK A FUCKING LINK. if you're willpower is that low, spoilers of a tv show are the least of your worries.

That is your choice. I do not have a (legal) choice to watch the show three hours earlier. If I could, I would.

Many weeks I did watch it on my DVR a few days later. I was not complaining about that.

I did not click on any links. My willpower is intact.

i like how they took the time in the beginning of the show to explain how a massive horde got to farm. maybe they read this thread and decided to think more logically

like it really required that as an explanation? you have to be retarded to not understand that the zombies move...it's been brought up in the show multiple times even before now.

how many spears do you see just laying around? :p

I can understand Rick hiding from that one lone zombie... when you've got your kid with you and when a single scratch = death, why engage if you have a choice? (plus, once the zombie saw them, he may have groaned and attracted more)

a spear is a pretty basic weapon. all you need is a long pole, a sharp object and some rope or twine.

hell, just sharpen some long sticks...

While I agree it's a bit far fetched everyone is a great shot now, it'd sure be a dull as hell show if we watched them missing all the time. I'm watching to see some zombie carnage and understand it's a TV show made for entertainment.

I don't believe a scratch = death as rick only said that to cover up the fact that neither of the dead officers showed bites and they have been scratched before and it caused no issues.

It's the bite that you have to worry.

It was commented on about that because it was kinda a weak ass way to get them to get off the farm.
