This show used to have such great direction that even the camera-angles told a story; now it's a half-witted mess full of incongruence and shots that UN-sell the show.

What energy. You shouldn't have wasted it insulting me in the first place.

If you were referencing a character, posting a picture didn't make your intent as crystal-clear as you think. They're based on personalities, not faces and I wasn't the only one to draw the wrong conclusion. Consider your presentation more next time.

99% likely that she is
dead, zombified and hiding in the barn with the rest of the zombies.

If that's true wouldn't it make sense for Hershel to let the group know sooner, considering how urgently he wants the group to leave? The sooner the group can find closure the sooner they can leave and move on.

Hershel doesn't exactly trust the group and their ability to make rational decisions. It seems fitting that he would rather wait for the group to grow tired of searching for Sophia and leave for Fort Benning rather than have them discover
zombie Sophia and risk the group destroying the "sick people" inside the barn.

Make double the number of episodes with less. Who woulda guessed. Seriously, if this was just a 6 episode run, I think it could have been good.

They've stretched 2 issues of the comic book out to six tv episodes.

Seriously.. a comic book is a free story-board! Just shoot the dammed thing but add dialog that fits the format.

This... let's see... we did the vampire>zombie cycle... are we back to wear-wolves or are ghosts the new commodity to run up? Maybe hunters... I like hunters.

So at this point Daryl is the only character I like in any way shape or form. Everyone else is this flat whiny soaking wet-blanket emo whiner. Ugh.

The first episode was like that. Right up until after he was pulled off his horse it was just like the comic. Coincidentally the first episode of the show was also the best.

Fairy Tales. We have Grimm and Once Upon a Time on TV. Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsmen movies coming out.

On that note, why in the eff did they bother with a 1.5 hour premiere if half of it was going to be filler?

A one hour episode would have sufficed. Shit...

50% more commercials before they slow death rattle.

Apparently we can blame mad men for taking all their budget. Mad men is a better show though so they deserve it.

Just take a look at them though.....

I found it ironic that one of the first pics I googled showed him with a baseball hat on....

Now what was Glenn wearing (in the comic AND the show?) ;)

Sorry it came off as blunt... When you think you are talking to people on the web you have a tendency to forget that not all of them know what the hell you are talking about! ;)

If they were smart, they would have just done a 6 episode, 70 minute (20 min commercials) run on this and been done with it.

How many eps was Game of Thrones? HOW MANY PAGES WAS THE DAMN BOOK?!?!??

Keep it tight, and you have more of a chance to get people to watch, AND purchase (Band of Brothers...)

^^Must be one expensive office. Mad Men chews through $2mil per episode minimum.

Yeah, the similarity is striking. I was joking too with the "you all look alike" shitick because in this case it's pretty damn close. :p

i think they spend a lot of research to make sure every aspect of the show is historically accurate.
