Who here has stopped watching?

I completely forget that it's even on. I remember with Entourage I could hardly wait for next weeks episode, along with other series as well.

This... not so much.

I saw season one on Netflix just this weekend all in one shot... I liked it. I only get OTA tv so I have yet to see season two and would have to pay for it on Amazon at $1.99 each episode. With the reviews here I don't know if I want to do that.

I liked season 1. The show had a better flow IMO in the first season compared to the current one. The scenery always changed after an episode or two since they had to move the storyline faster with only six episodes.

The current season could be good if the writing was better. They made most of the characters annoying during this season and most of the episodes are just filler so far. Filler episodes are fine in sitcoms but something like this it just doesn't seem to work. We are four episodes deep into season two but they could've cut it down to two episodes with some stuff filling starting to fill a third episode.

In the comics they arrive at the farm in issue 10. At the end of issue 10, the secret of the farm is revealed. A single issue of a 25 page comic, moved further along than 5 episodes of the show.

Season 1 was better (personally I think Vatos was the weakest episode of everything aired yet though). Season 2 has pacing issues. I'll start getting annoyed if they don't move past this point when the season is half-over, but the preview suggests that
Merle will be back in the story by next episode...watch it be in the last couple minutes though.

Yeah, I've noticed they're spending a lot more time at the farm in the show than they did in the comic. Then again I seem to remember there being more members to the family in the comic too. I think they're trying to keep it low budget, so using up the sets they have as much as possible. Because the next big move takes them to the prison.

Anyone else wish that some other network would buy this show out? Seems like amc is really running it into the ground this season. I would love for it to move to HBO.

In the comic, Herschel had two sons (Arnold, Billy), and four daughters (Lacey, Maggie, Rachel, Sussie) who were still alive.

In the show there is Maggie, and two more characters who they've never bothered to name or introduce, but you occasionally see them in the background.

His wife and youngest son are dead in both.

this was the last episode of this show i will be watching. it is just so boring and slow with absolutely no plot development.

OH WOW NOW SHE IS PREGNANT WITH SHANES BABY WOW, CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE ABOUT THE LOVE TRIANGLE!!!

It's like they've started a weekly drawing for "least considered zombie" or something. This week "water logged zombie" was drawn out of the fish bowl and the creator probably got free lunch or something.

I just started watching the 1st season.

As much as I hate zombie shit right now, goddamn this show pisses me off. The people are so fucking stupid.

I just finished episode 4 or 5, I think. Also, can they make their minds up about the zombies? Like one minute they are stupid and the next minute they are smart.

They use tools, they can pinpoint gun shots but apparently not screaming people. Sometimes they seem slow and other times they are fast.

In one scene out in the middle of the woods they mention echoes from the canyons and the zombies won't be able to locate them but yet they can fire guns in the middle of a huge city and the zombies can pinpoint them directly. Wouldn't there be major echoes there too? They even had one guy shooting from a multistory dept. store roof and they were pissed that the zombies would be able to find them.

Also, how did the zombies know which building they were in from the front side when glenn helped rescue rick from the tank?

How come the zombies at the front of the store didn't go after glenn when he was in the car with the alarm going off?
