the game is fairly linear, just go to those planets, do whatever u can do and the goal is automatically reached in the process. which is actually almost exactly like nwn when i played it.

Hmmm...I dunno. Seems different to me, and I'm playing NWN now. I'm thinking my dislike of anything Star Wars is probably a big part of this...

ya think?! 😛

It didn't bother me up to the point I stopped at though....it was actually pretty cool til then. I dunno...maybe I'll give it some time this weekend.

One thing I wish it was more like NWN was the ability to rest like in NWN. In KOTOR you need to use medpacs up the wazoo...

not relaly. you can instant transport to your base, then instant transport back. everything's refreshed.

later u'll get force heal which make medpacs only useful during combat

Wait! I knew I could transport back to the Ebon Hawk to get healed, but you can go right back where you transported from??

Where was this space station? Was it on the water planet or somewhere else? The only crystals I found that weren't your run of the mill crap was the ones in the cave near the Jedi Academy and a few you pickup from the Sith Masters you kill

Seems like the game was overrated...maybe it's because I'm not a SW fan AT ALL.

:|
It's a good console RPG, because console rpgs by nature are linear and somewhat thoughtless. I enjoyed the game, but if you're looking for an extensive non-linear game you don't want one that was made in great part for a console.

after you have all the star forge locations, you go to the space station at Yavin IV and some guys will be harassing the merchant there. After you kill them all, he has 2 light saber crystals (Heart of something and something of something else) for 20,000 credits each, and they kick ass

Sweet 🙂 Did not know that. Hate to sound stupid but which planet was Yavin on? (Or is that a planet name) Sorry it's been months since I've played it 🙁

there was an XBOX LIVE update which added a new "map"... and opened up the Yavin 4 station.

Playing the dark side is really fun. You can be a complete a-hole throughout the game. Whenever I had a choice, I'd just think, "What's the worst, most evil thing I could possibly do?". lol, lots of fun. 😀

Well god damnit no wonder 🙂 I had to sell off my old modded XBox and I lost all my saved game files b/c each one was about 40MB :| (Wouldn't fit on a memory card) Looks like I'll be playing some KOTOR this weekend 🙂

Oh no! Now I want to play KOTOR again!

But... I also want to play Halo again!

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Are you talking about at the bottom of the ocean? You need to pick up the air pulse gun. You can "kill" them when they get close to you with it. You pick it up in the labs before putting on the dive suit.

I played it on PC and it was one of the planets you could select on your map.
