My biggest thing is it seems like after you join the Jedi academy, you mission is almost too open ended. I sort of had no idea where to go, so I just chose the wookie planet. I walked around there for awhile and was like...eh.

Oh well...:(
psh, at least you didn't buy FFXI! You can't even resell the damn thing because accounts are non-transferable!

Are you talking about at the bottom of the ocean? You need to pick up the air pulse gun. You can "kill" them when they get close to you with it. You pick it up in the labs before putting on the dive suit.

Actually, it is a sonic emitter (at least on xbox). I gotta say I love this game, I am currently about 3/4 through it for my first time. After I got my HDTV I figured this game would look great and it does. Is there anyway else to get the extra level besides xbox live?

Actually, it is a sonic emitter (at least on xbox).

Thanks. It's been about 8 months since I played it. Couldn't remember the exact name.

There should be 2 in the complex, if you read one of the datapads you pick up (read all of them) it will tell you about this. But as far as I was able to tell there was only one suit. Also, make sure that you use most of your crew on each planet. There are a lot of side quests that can only be activated when you have certain people. If you leave the ship with the Mandalorian someone will challange him to a duel, also you may have noticed that the hotel is closed. You will need a specific person to activate that quest as well.

Edit for clarification: the Mandalorian side quest that I mentioned is on the water world.

Where was this space station? Was it on the water planet or somewhere else? The only crystals I found that weren't your run of the mill crap was the ones in the cave near the Jedi Academy and a few you pickup from the Sith Masters you kill

after you have all the star forge locations, you go to the space station at Yavin IV and some guys will be harassing the merchant there. After you kill them all, he has 2 light saber crystals (Heart of something and something of something else) for 20,000 credits each, and they kick ass

It's heart of the gaurdian and mantle of the force. THe cool thing is, they interact with the other two crystals in your saber. You put them in place of a color crystal, so you still have 2 other modification crystals in your saber. What the two fancy crystals do is modify the properties of the other 2 crystals, and every combination does something different!

I just finished the level a couple days ago. Finally about to start on Koroban for my last star map. I am just pissed that I have to play along with all these Sith, would rather just kill them all. (Can't wait to play as the dark Jedi)

I just finished the game with the light ending. meh, wasn't really impressed. i think they should have flourished the relationship between Bastila and the "male character" more after the incident in the Star Forge.

Play it through as dark. I thought that it was much better (as I already said).

The first time I played it, I played light. Then I reloaded one of my saved games before I started the final battle and gave myself 100 darkside points and beat it. Strangely enough, it gave me the same ending, but my character looked all evil. I'm guessing there's a different ending for darkside?

Substantially different. Once you hit the unknown planet (the one before the Star Forge) the game play changes dramatically. I think the change is for the better too. On a side note, it didn't take me nearly as long to beat it the second time, so I think it's a worthwhile endevour.

That stupid star forge... :| I Sometimes I couldn't kill off those stupid baddies fast enough and they'd spawn so fast and overtake me.

Oh well. Tedious and pointless, but still fun with a strength of 99 :D

Ehh...maybe. I uninstalled it and have been playing Sacred. At first it sucked, but it has started to grow on me...

I just finished Sacred tonight. Uninstall it now. All that game is about is running from city to city doing lame quests. It's all about running around. You have to run all the way across the map about 40 times. Just not a great game. Story was mildly entertaining but nothing special.

I'm not exactly sure but I think it's when you crash on that last planet. That's when things really start to get weird.

I'm gonna have to install and play it again, just to see. I liked playing the last half of Jedi Academy with the different saber options too.

i just beat it with the dark side ending. the game was as good as i thought it was after beating it 2 times with the 2 endings. the stupid part is that no matter what you do in the first 95% of the game, light or dark stuff, when you make the important decision with Bastila on the unknown planet, that decides light or dark.

I just started dark last night and it is a lot easier/more fun. It's nice not having to read as much when you know you just going to be killing them.
