My roommate got an email from our school resnet saying that Universal Pictures found him sharing Gladiator.

hey! i got a letter from universal pictures saying i was sharing bridget jones diary on kazaa. and i have friends who received letters for sharing being john malkovich.

i have since stopped using kazaa. mirc is the way to go

yeah, having a raid done on you is not fun. 18 cops in a 900sf apt is kind of ugly. 8 mos later and thousands of $$$$ later they didn't find anything. they did find some "backed up" software, but didn't care, they were looking for something really bad - some emails talking sh~t to somebody, not death threats, just talking smack.
