While you liberal nut cases turn off all your lights.....I plan to turn EVERY piece of electronic equipment/lights/whatever I can turn ON and blast it on webcam.......site will be up tonight. I went and rented two spot lights too.....if you are in Dallas/Addison....look north between 7:00pm and 10:00pm....
You do realize that if EVERYONE turns off their lights.....the electric companies lose money....then ask for a bailout...we provide it and then the government has control there too?

No, that concept is flawed because one will eventually need gas on Wednesday and spend the same amount.
However if you don't light your house on Tuesday, you can't account for Tuesday's unused electricity later on. It is the equivalent of not driving on Tuesday as opposed to not filling up.
Do your research....find out who started this "earth hour rally". Once you have your answer....come find me.

Caring about the earth is not a liberal idea but silly assed things like sitting in the dark for an hour do not demonstrate your "caring for the earth". Using energy is not a bad thing or a good thing, and I do not feel the least bit guilty about the energy I use to light my house or power my electronics. I will be celebrating the huge advancement our species has made over the last century by turning on all my lights and electronics during earth hour as well. It is a hell of a lot better than lighting candles, taking a dump outside in a privy, and taking an hour to go 5 miles on the back of a horse when I want to get to work which is how most people got along in 1909.
