I feel so dirty, so guilty, so out of touch with my own culture.

That's okay. You're just being the typical ATOTer who thinks it's cool to go against the grain. You are forgiven my son.

I thought I was just too lazy to get up from the computer and turn out the lights.

I watched them turn off the casino lights here in Vegas from an off strip casino garage with a buncha people....pretty interesting to see them go off as night and be able to see some different things lit up but not a dramatic difference overall.

They've been turning it off now almost every night for the past couple of weeks. MGM Mirage is struggling so they're doing everything they can to save money.

I haven't had a raise in over a year (work at Mandalay Bay).

Actually I wonder if all these companies wanting a bailout are doing efforts like that to try and save. Lot of companies leave lights on all the time, but they should just close them and maybe have some "night lights" that are LED if they have a reason to keep some lights on. (ex: tall sky scrapers would want some lights on so planes don't hit them)

I've noticed that (about the luxor light) as my apt has a view of the strip that only lets me see it + the mandalay bay - seems like they are only lighting it when there are clouds out so it really puts a light out there or when they have someone big performing there - but yeah otherwise they have been keeping it off

While you liberal nut cases turn off all your lights.....I plan to turn EVERY piece of electronic equipment/lights/whatever I can turn ON and blast it on webcam.......site will be up tonight. I went and rented two spot lights too.....if you are in Dallas/Addison....look north between 7:00pm and 10:00pm....

You do realize that if EVERYONE turns off their lights.....the electric companies lose money....then ask for a bailout...we provide it and then the government has control there too?

Why? To prove to us that you're a huge douche?

BTW-I completely forgot about this last night...oh well.

Well, I had all my lights on last night, including my patio, porch, and closet lights. Also, all the lights in my bathroom, and had water running for a good while while I did some cleaning in the bathroom. Had all 6 computers powered up and running too.
