Yeah, that really was impressive.

Strong showing overall for MS. They're clearly going after the Wii market heavily. Let's see how Nintendo responds.

One other thing about the camera: it seems to work VERY well up close and off-axis.

Hulu's content providers don't want you watching Hulu on TVs. They've made that very clear as part of killing it off on Boxee. So Xbox support aren't gonna happen.

There was also the silly looking Avatar kart-racing game. Nothing beyond that. No other conferences for MS but the publisher conferences are upcoming. EA and Ubisoft are later today.

MGS FRANCHISE! WTF!? Not a new PSP game. Not MGS4 to the 360, but a new game and THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE?! Is that what I understood?

Facebook? Twitter? I don't care so much for that, but it's cool that they're integrating it. Why all of these small web app integrations, though? Just pop in a browser and let the user decide what content they want to view.

Finally, some Alan Wake footage...narrated by Max Payne.

Forza 3 looks great, but we knew it would. MW2 looks cool, too.

Oh, I have to say that I really like the way MS went with their press conference this year. They concentrated on the games and features they were delivering with no industry charts and graphs.

Makes me wonder how well the Sony and Nintendo press conferences are going to be received tomorrow if they end up loading their conferences up with charts and graphs.

No...MGS: Rising is coming to 360. It's probably coming to PS3 as well, as they've always had Playstation as their main console/handheld. That, and this was announced after the "exclusive" section of the conference, if I'm correct.

This is not the first time a MGS game has been brought over to another console.

Overall, I thought the conference was OK. Natal could be OK, but overall just seemed like a cool tech gimmick for now (similar to the Wiimote, which I still feel).

And that virtual boy...I thought that was just plain stupid and creepy.
