They did. The Nazis were Democratically Elected. Germans enthusiastically supported Hitler and the War. They were as Guilty as the Nazi's themselves.

That the most ignorant bullshit I think I've ever seen you post, and that's saying a lot.

Well, he IS correct, even if it's simplified. They did win the election and they WERE supported by the majority, even though the majority didn't really know the ultimate plan neither then nor later.

I think the guilt actually comes from what few did and what few knew was done.

You also have to realise the situation of the country at the time, they were assraped after WWI, which was the original cause of the rise of Hitler and the National Sozialist party. Well that and the burning of the Reichstag which became the last straw for the people.

No, he's not, unless he's saying he enthusiastically supported Democratically elected Bush/Cheney and is also just as guilty for Bush/Cheney's invasion of Iraq.

Assuming you are from the US, you are celebrating how you killed the native americans ? Everybody has a skeleton in their closet. It's done , you cannot reverse it. Learn and live on. Or complain about others and make the same mistake again yourself.

People don't celebrate that stuff in the United States. It's viewed as a negative part of our history. It's common to learn about in the various education systems in the country, portrayed in media in movies, tv, and books, etc.

However, there is no view on most of the European atrocities. It's conveniently forgotten or instead celebrated. That's the issue. There is no "Learn" component to "Learn and live on" in Europe. That is why Europeans tend to repeat atrocities.

well that's kind of like totally against what you've been posting. i don't see a problem with the denial as long as it's not institutionalized denial of history, who cares if some crazies want to deny the holocaust. people who deny reality hardly get far in life.
