So if you have a medical lisc. for pot you shouldn't be allowed to work because you won't pass a drug test? Do employers screen for thousands of super hardcore narcotic variations handed out via perscription? No. So again what is the utility of the test? It really screens for retards or illegal narcotic junkies. I would think an interview would suffice there.
Why is your medical records/history your employers business? *I can see if certain cases maybe....
Question answered! If yo go to work high, you better have a good reason for it. If you have to be on X drug, it is your companies business to know that. They don't want the legal liability of firing someone because of a medical condition. If you lie to them, then they can honestly say "We had no idea he had this medical condition when we fired him. He was asked and didn't indicate that it existed."
You signed up to work for the company. You agreed to the terms they set, if you don't like it, that too dang bad. Want to change it? Lobby to congress/the supreme court, or run for congress if they don't listen. Bitching about it on the internet isn't going to change anything.
And cheating the system certainly wont change anything, except adding the risk of getting fired for cheating the system.
