Government != company (well, unless you work for the government).

But what I'm getting at is your rights END when you step foot on the company property. If you have drugs in your system (whether or not you're intoxicated by them at the time is irrelevant) and it violates your employers policy, then you get what you deserve. No different from violating any other corporate policy, imo.

That's really great that you're willing to take one up the ass for the corporate world but I beg to differ. What I do on my free time is... MY BUSINESS. I see drug tests as well... a test. You don't pass, you're let go. You pass, you stay. There are many ways to pass arbitrary tests like these. Don't like that? Too fucking bad! 😀
 
i don't think you are working in the corporate world and if you are you are either plain jane or keeping your alternative lifestyle a big secret.

if the terms and conditions of your employment require drug testing random/post accident then you new it upon accepting the job. In the near future ALL employees and contractors will be drug tested.
