I lived there for 2 1/2 years and that was 7 years ago. Have had no desire to go back at all. I hated the place. Glad I'm back in civilization. Sacramento seriously does suck and that's not counting the government.
Why do you say Sacramento suck?

If it wasn't for Sacramento, San Fransisco would fall off into the Pacific Ocean. Why do you say Sacramento suck?
Sactown iz in da house!Hell, in Sacramento, you're less than 2 hours from Lake Tahoe...or about 2-1/2 hours to Reno...MUCH better than hanging around Sactown.
It depends on what you like to do. I have this really neat project downstairs that you may want to see. I am sure you'd love it.

I keep meaning to go to this:

One thing about that area though, just drive through it. Eat/gas up/etc. elsewhere. It's not horrible but it's not the best.
What you're really saying is all white people look the same to you.Nah, I'd say it's more like for Mexicans.
There is nothing to do in Sacramento few times I drove through there. The local are unfriendly and the foods is meh at best.
Going to Rib Cook Off in Reno next weekend.
Why do you say Sacramento suck?
First of all, to do anything cool it's at least a 2hr drive(Tahoe/Frisco/mountains/beach), night life sucks cus everything closes early cus it's an old people city, weather sucks, people are very much an acquired taste, river as the cool-off spot sucks when you're used to the beach, no theme parks close by, I could go on and on. It's definitely ok to visit but to live, I'd never recommend it to anyone.
I grew up somewhere that literally has everything is close proximity so something as small as Sacramento could never compare.
