It never ceases to amaze me how often Trump says basically 'these people I hired and previously said were great are incompetent morons bent on destroying America'.

It is almost like he subconsciously talks about himself!

I love it when Trump proves his mental acuity to be even worse than his critics suspect.

His "I hereby order" shit was hilarious. The shock it's causing his business-first thralls haha. Likening Powell to the threat posed by bad actor China. Just, wow.

Keep shooting yourself in the foot dipshit, America's future is rooting for ya.

this just tweeted...

"The Dow is down 573 points perhaps on the news that Representative Seth Moulton, whoever that may be, has dropped out of the 2020 Presidential Race!"

wtf happened to the GOP being the party of personal responsibility?

Reporter rumblings that Trump is going to announce something on tariffs. Since they waited for the markets to close I doubt it will be good.

Obviously what's going to solve this problem is HIGHER tariffs:

Really at this point China should just announce that their tariffs are indexed lock-step with ours. Add 5% on your tariffs, ours go up the same amount. Trump's head would explode trying to figure out how to handle that.

It is unclear if some categories of goods that were delayed until Dec 1 still are. Kind of a mess out there.

Well we're stuck into a retaliatory cycle already and President Smart Brain hasn't figured it out. Something everybody sane knew would happen at the outset of all this bullshit.

While I really hate to see this happening and so many people getting hurt financially by Metamucilinni's fucking the financial chicken, this has to happen if we are ever going to drive the stake through the heart of conservative economics and finally kill it. Word is that MAGAt heads are on his Twitler feed whining about supporting him and beggin him to do something because their retirement accounts are taking a beating. I feel for those who are taking a hit and voted for Hillary. Those who chose not to vote made their decision by choosing not to decide, so while I feel somewhat sympathetic to them, they got what they didn't vote for. Those who voted for Felonious D can suck it up and take the hit like everyone else, this is what they voted for. As long as he's hurting those they hate, they love him

Now it's their turn to feel his indifference to their plight.

The Trumplorables aren't feeling this in the same way, though. They don't have money in the market so they aren't seeing their retirement melt away (because they don't have any retirement). As far as their chronic economic woes, they've consumed so much Koolaid, it doesn't matter who's in office - it's the browns stealing all their jobs/money.

Trump voters might want to reflect on how they were thinking 3 years ago when Trump sucked 'em into the biggest scam they ever fell for. They actually believed in him in a totally irrational way. Swooned, they did. Some of them will be too proud & too stubborn to own up to it but I figure that's far from universal. We all have those "WTF was I thinking?" moments. I figure it's their turn, for sure.

Over the last few years we are all doing pretty well if we’ve been in the stock market.
