stfu russian. The only people that should be panicking are the russians that we will crush when we get your stooge out of office.
Because Progressheviks can't wait to crush their Chinese and Russian masters?

Incidentally the Mexicans are sensing weakness and pushing back on US immigration demands. They are reducing the number of "wait in Mexico" asylum seekers they'll accept and in some cases refusing to take people with deportation orders. The Mexican senate has ruled out the country signing a "third safe" agreement with the US. More likely to come.

Thinking seems to be that Trump won't want to retaliate economically now that the US economy is showing signs of strain and he's got his hands full with the Chinese.

Trade wars are good, easy, can be used for non-economic reasons, etc...

This is the kind of stuff that could set off a panic.

Also LOL at we have to elect a R president because a D president would bring economic uncertainty.

This is NPD in action. He feels under pressure by a faltering economy and China has hurt his feelings so he’s wildly lashing out.

Seriously this man is mentally ill. He needs to be removed, today.

Trump is presently meeting with his economic team to discuss China. I presume this means how they intend to retaliate.

LMAO at him "ordering" private companies to do something. Sorry, King Bonespurs, doesn't work like that. Order another Big Mac and STFU.

I'm sure Bezos is laughing his balls off at that.

A person in any other position of public trust or even any publicly owned company would be removed for this sort of behavior.

Allowing the executive to become so powerful and have such limited recourse for removal turning out not to be a fantastic idea.

Kudos to Jay Powell for calling it like it is and not bowing to pressure like every other Trump appointee.

between his attacks on chairman Powell and this, the DJI just dropped 450 points.

I think Trump is an idiot but let's keep perspective. A 450 point drop is a 1.5% decline. That's not even a particularly abnormal day. Not one you like to see if you're a long investor but just another down day. VIX is up to around 20 (20.27 at the moment I'm posting) so not panic levels yet either but it is trending negative if you're a long side/buy and hold investor.
