Interesting that Republicans don't seem to have a problem with redistribution of wealth all of a sudden, haha. I wonder what's different?
It would seem self-evident that Republicans are opposed to wealth redistribution only when Republicans aren't the beneficiaries.

So, you're saying "bothsides" then?
There's only one side doing the consistent "us vs them" song and dance.

Really, having watched the conversations go back and forth, I'd say it is definitely both sides, with everyone making assumptions about the other and neither caring about actual compromise as long as they can post some links and exclaim "i'm right you're wrong".

But only one 'side' has political leadership that acts like that.

Oddly enough though when Democrats want to redistribute wealth to poor people republicans say that’s bad. When Republicans want to redistribute wealth to farmers it’s good. Why one and not the other?

Because farmers actually work doing value creating work that produces stuff we want. Poor people either don’t work or do jobs that produce very little of actual value which is why they’re paid minimum-wage.

Apparently what they are making isn't valuable enough according to the market, otherwise people would pay more for it and they wouldn't need to have our wealth redistributed to them.

Someday you guys are going to have to decide if you like the free market or not.

We already know the answer to that. They don't.

lmao youre a joke

Denial isn't a river in Egypt. It's just like Michael Moore offered- Voting for Trump was a giant irrational Fuck You! to the rest of America & the world. And now those who did so will argue it was right even as it came around to bite them in the ass. Decades of relentless right wing mind fuck set 'em up for it.

I’d be happy if you’d cut out the payouts to farmers. I’d obviously rather nonoayouts like this go to anyone, not just farmers. But if the government absolutely *must* make transfer payments to redistribute wealth then the poors should be the very last to get those redistributions. We’d probably be better off burning the money to heat government buildings than paying the poors for sucking at life.

Yeh, it's perfectly obvious that a lot of poor children suck at picking parents, too-

We don’t have to make transfer payments to anyone, it’s a choice conservatives are making and you defended. I am exactly zero percent shocked that those who you think ‘deserve’ transfer payments are other conservatives. You guys never have found a welfare program you don’t like so long as it’s going to your buddies.

Like I said, you guys are just tribal people cosplaying as free market guys. At least have the courage to be honest about it!

On the plus side, their parents are giving them great examples for what not to do and be when they grow up.
If they manage to survive to being grown up. Which they won't, if you had your way.

You go on as if being poor is a state of moral depravity. It's understandable coming from a person who worships at the altar of greed in the temple of Mammon.

You guys need to realize, glenn is just feeling the economic crunch from having to spend so much money on diapers because he keeps pissing and shitting himself. FYI "poor" is code word for non-white for people like him, just so you know what he's actually talking about. Which, I don't doubt he does also hate poor white people, but he's outright said before that he hates non-whites because he views them as poor losers that are just economic drains.

How the fuck are you supposed to buy food from the farmers if all the people that "suck at life" stop going to all their "low value" jobs.
