Where are the Bolsheviks when we need them, huh?

Too busy either losing to Joe Biden or out of the race after coming in 3rd in her own state and blaming sexism. Either way they're not the cavalry on the way to rescue you like in your fantasies.

Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate. It will purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down. People will work harder, live a more moral life. Values will be adjusted, and enterprising people will pick up from less competent people.

Liquidate the Kulaks! Liquidate the bourgeoisie as a class!

Oh wait, wrong kind of true-believers. I get them confused.

You seriously think Sanders and Warren constitutes 'the Bolsheviks'?

Errr...I think the investor class will just own more after this downturn. They're the ones flush with cash to buy up cheap stocks, real estate, etc.

yep. and all of us that have been working our asses off and investing on a smallish scale in the markets and real-estate are totally fooked.

Doesn't matter since Joe would happily reinstate the "Obama put" and change the moral hazard mode to "deity" setting again. So either way the capitalists win big, either by going short and profiting from the decline or by bailout afterwards. Either way the poors are going to have a lot less sh!t afterwards. See how Wall Street reacted the day after Super Tuesday when it became obvious that Bernie wouldn't be the nominee.

Are you seriously trying to attribute literally anything in the market right now to Bernie? In the middle of a fucking global pandemic?

Come on man, you can do better than that. You didn't even include the word socialism in that post.

To be fair, I see the use of "Communism" being thrown around a lot more than "Socialism" now. They've gone full derp.

LOL yeah I'm sure the former Senator from MBNA and the other credit card companies who was the prime driver of current bankruptcy law would really scare Wall Street straight. Hell, they'd probably make bigger bets with him in charge than they would with Trump since the Democrats would actually presume (wrongly) that Biden would be on the case and try to keep them in check rather than enable them. At least Trump only cares about enriching himself.

Wall St execs are being summoned to a meeting Wednesday at the WH where I can only presume Trump will yell at them for letting his stock market go down.

A this rate, by Wednesday the stock market will be lower than Obama's final score. I wonder how happy Trump will be at that point.

For a President obsessed with numbers, I think we need to make this one stick. Not just holding the biggest decline in history, but doubled that one too!

Biggliest loss in market history!

I think we should keep listening to Larry Kudlow who is a widely noted expert on the economy. Just looking at him calling things in December of 2007 - hard to argue he missed this one.

There’s no recession coming. The pessimistas were wrong. It’s not going to happen. At a bare minimum, we are looking at Goldilocks 2.0. (And that’s a minimum). Goldilocks is alive and well. The Bush boom is alive and well. It’s finishing up its sixth consecutive year with more to come. Yes, it’s still the greatest story never told.

Don't you get it though? It's all the democrats and MSM's fault for spreading the hysteria! THey are the ones that shut down Italy. Caused S. Korea to test virtually every man woman and child. This is the Dems' faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaault!

Could be worse, Trump could have hired Krugman for the job in which case we'd be truly fucked.

He's on top of this crisis.....when millions are quarantined, out of Work, and can't pay their Bills, I wonder if he'll do anything.

Trump @ meeting: "Screw with whoever/whatever you have to... the ONLY thing that matters to me is getting re-elected! It's in the U.S. interests (Mine), so I think it'll be ok."
