Actually it is something i care about and after sitting on different juries something i've had to deal with in the past. Try serving jury duty sometime.

You might want to take a look at the interview with an another juror. They said, the foreperson tried his hardest to make sure Stone had a fair trial. That without him there the juror would have convicted earlier.

I thought most trials had an alternate juror.

Just kick that juror out and put the alternate on in.
They do, although I don't believe it's that simple.

But all irrelevant anyway. We're post-sentencing now, so the judge must certainly have reviewed whatever it is and not considered it a big deal. Stone and his lawyers are, of course, free to appeal.

Well it's not like there were 11 Jurors that were guilty and 1 person wanted to vote not guilty throwing it into a mistrial. All 12 Jurors agreed on the verdict yet for some reason there is 1 person they are focusing on that may or may not like Trump and so Fox news and the Trumpsters are going to run with that.

They had the opportunity to during the voir dire, the defense let her through and these facts were known. Unlikely there will be a new trial.

Sorry, I don't follow Fox news. But if all the outrage is due to the political opinions of 1 of the jurors, then that's just idiot propaganda. I could only imagine the hypocritical outcry from the MAGAs if one of them got disqualified from a jury just for being a MAGA, but of course they believe that kind of thing should happen to Democrats.

Something that every conservative should know is that you don't get arrested and go to trial because you are innocent.

They make it about everything other than Stone's crimes. The juror. The prosecutors. The judge. The man in the moon. And while Trump & Barr are pouring out the bullshit for public consumption & corruption, the new prosecutor affirms the correctness of the original recommendation in court. Down the page-

New prosecutor says Stone should go to prison for "a substantial period"
Despite the drama over whether Stone should receive the seven to nine years in prison the original Stone prosecutors recommended, the new prosecutor wants Stone to go to jail.
John Crabb Jr. said he wanted to apologize to the court for the confusion the Justice Department has caused with respect to this sentencing.
“This confusion was not caused by the original trial team,” he said. “The original trial team had authorization to submit” the original sentencing memo.
What this is all about: The prosecutors who tried the case against Stone wrote a memo asking for seven to nine years in prison — but Attorney General William Barr retracted that recommendation hours after Trump criticized it on Twitter for being too harsh. The four original prosecutors withdrew from the case in response to Barr's decision. Two new DC US Attorney's Office supervisors stepped up to handle Stone's sentencing, and a new sentencing memo was released asking for "far less" time.
Today, Crabb said he stands by the original sentencing memo, adding, “It was done in good faith.”
The Justice Department and US Attorney’s Office operate “without fear, favor or political influence. This prosecution is righteous.”

“The court should impose a substantial period of incarceration,” Crabb added.
Crabb said he is not going to elaborate on who wrote the revised memo or say who directed him to write it, after the judge asked him directly. He would only say he signed the updated memo.
“The court will rely on its own sound judgment and experience,” Crabb said. “We have confidence the court will impose a just and fair sentence in this matter.”

You probably won't see anything about that on Fox. I hope the day comes when Barr deeply regrets having not heeded Michael Cohen's admonitions.

Newsflash for conservatives:

- The majority of Americans dislike Trump
- A “jury of your peers” does not guarantee Trump fluffers
- While we’re at it, a majority of Americans also hate Confederate flags, Confederate memorials, traitors in government, etc. etc.
- Y’all are still losing the Culture War. Want another go? Get your own damn country.

So if you've sat on juries then you are aware that unless you've seen the jury questionnaire and what she disclosed you have no idea if your comment about her being ineligible is valid. She certainly didn't hide it since it's public comments.
No, she's the one that exposed her own postings during and before the trial.

The juror never expressed any bias towards the defendant.
The argument that because a juror didn’t like a third party not involved in the trial that they should be removed is beyond stupid. Stone’s legal team was made aware of her political leanings and declined to strike her. Unless you can show that she lied on her jury questionnaire in some material way that’s the end of it.

Glad to see the law and order crowd is once again trying to get a multiple felon off because he’s on their political team.

And again, that's irrelevant. Unless she lied on the questionnaire to those specific questions I mentioned, the fault lies with Stone's legal team for not striking her from the pool. Since you insist she violated this you must have access to that questionnaire. If you don't, you are talking out of your ass as usual.

Maybe Stone can sue his lawyer for malpractice then. Otherwise, he's guilty, as convicted.
