No he doesn't. I know people that have worked with him...it's all publicity. Alot of the time, he will call the person up beforehand and ask them if they want to be on national television. He is scum and a scam. Worthless trash IMHO.

I like the part where you seem to think it's a bad idea to call someone up and entice them to get caught by offering to put them on TV. Also it seems you believe that all the people seen on documentaries don't have to give permission to be shown on TV and apparently must think they just arbitrarily blur people's faces sometimes.

For criminals to leave hawaii, they would need to fly out where as in the mainland, they can just drive on forever.

The show is annoying, they'll call someone and tell them they're coming to pick them up...the person will be like 'ok' and then they spend 10 minutes of showtime planning the pickup trying to build the drama. Then they'll go pickup the person and have 5 people with mace canisters try to bum rush one guy who is waiting willingly to be picked up. The drama of the situation is totally overdone.

As has already been stated, he doesn't let his crew have them either. If it was just because he was a convicted felon, the rest of the crew would carry them.
