Does anyone take care of their skin? (guys)

Which products would you recommend for taking care of the skin in your face and body? I got oily skin, but the products I use dry my skin too much.

The only thing I use is Neutrogena hand cream because my hands crack and split during the winter. I like it because its thick, not greasy and works pretty well to keep my hands nice and silky smooth. Too bad every time I go fishing I can't grip the tackle box... 🙁;

Shower daily & use body wash with a loofa (one of those weird sponges). Axe is pretty good. As far face wash, I just use the shampoo on my head, shave afterwards, and use a moisturizing gel aftershave.

i used to use face washes and it would always make my skin really dry. when i used to have bad skin, i used a mask from preeventacne.com (yes there is an extra "e" in there, its not a typo). the mask is all natural and made with a bunch of essential oils that are really good for your skin. i HIGHLY recommend it. it ships from ireland, but its still cheap to get in the US.

now i dont use any soap or products on my face. just wash with water and pat dry with a towel. i have great skin now.

Baby oil at night on arms ond legs (only in winter, because they get really dry).
Vaseline (petroleum jelly) for lips.
Nivea for Men post-shave lotion.
Neutrogena hand cream.

I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I don't get it...you have oily skin...but the products dry your face too much? Are you applying straight up ethanol to your face? Are you sure about oily skin? Try something that hydrates a little more - I bet you that your face is not as oily as you think. Is it your T-zone that is oily, or is your entire face building up oil everywhere? Clinique's line is decent, albiet expensive. If you really want to care, you can use their eye cream as well as its pretty good. As for a toner, the people I know swear and live by Kheils products. If you have oily skin you'll probably want their tea tree toner. I tried it, and it didn't work that well for me. I had great results with Neutrogena non alcoholic toner so you might want to try it (they have four levels depending on how oil you allegedly are...but again my friends don't like it). I just refilled up on Clinique eye cream though, and since I finished my toner, I'm giving Clinique's toner a try (its pretty cheap...although its just been a few days so I can't comment).

I have oily skin - its so oily that I do not even bother with moisturizer because 3 hours later the oil build up has returned on my face and I need to daub with facial absorbent paper. In fact, I found that my acne became a lot more controlled after I stopped using any type of moisturizer. My current regime consists of face wash + toner + eye cream and I'm good to go. the sad part is my lips get super dry super fast x_x

P.S. Remember not to just rub the facewash (whichever brand you use) on your face. Get it wet first and create bubbles...once you have that bubbly froth, then rub all over your face. Applying it as a paste directly to your face is pointless. Also, when you apply moisturizer, eye cream, or toner...PLEASE do not rub it on your face as if you are trying to stretch the hell out of it. Apply a normal force (pressure)...do not apply a shear force.

I just use any brand of Aloe Vera if my skin gets too dry. Beyond that, sweat/water resistant SPF 45 sunscreen and coconut oil if I get a sunburn. Lever 2000 Original bar soap for general use.

To each their own....what works for one person may not work for another. Everybody's face and overall bodies are different.

I use Aveno bodywash with a loofah
Clean and Clear (the one with the "microscrubbers")
Biotherm face lotion

I also have the Biotherm body lotion my girlfriend bought me, but I'm usually too lazy to use it.
