Why don't you want to use it?
Because I don't believe they have any right to verify that I legally own something I legally bought.

Choose verify, you then go to a second screen where you can choose "not at this time".

I sell computers. Therefore, I have to buy their products. You can't demo a machine with an OS other than the one you're going to sell on it.

Well, you've got two major competitors to Microsoft. Apple and *nix. They have a choice, so I'd say yes.![]()

That argument has nothing to do with the scenario. If it's too much of a problem to bypass the verification with one click you have some problems.

Now if the damn download speed would just pick up a little, I could stop arguing with you.

You legally bought a 180 day eval copy of Windows 2003 Server?
Yeah we TOTALLY believe you.
I bought it; I paid the cost that Microsoft was asking for it. In this case, it was express shipping. I obtained it through legitimate channels; that is, directly from Microsoft. Thereby, I legally bought it.
You purchased media and that fancy CD holder. The software is licensed, not sold.I bought it; I paid the cost that Microsoft was asking for it. In this case, it was express shipping. I obtained it through legitimate channels; that is, directly from Microsoft. Thereby, I legally bought it.
